Chaos
Order (or Lawful)
That said, if they do, I think it only fair that they provide me all figurines (including variants) of chars of these elements, gratis.

I allow Toys for Activision to use the following as additional elements if they ever make a sequel:
Chaos Order (or Lawful) That said, if they do, I think it only fair that they provide me all figurines (including variants) of chars of these elements, gratis. ![]()

Like a Whirlwind where the Chaos variant was black with white detailing and the Order was white with gold detailing? One majorly a defense and magic type user, while the other an attack-based character with full melee skills? It'd be a somewhat cool idea

I think it would be cool if there were 'Sun' and 'Moonlight' elements.

As for proposed 'elements' for future Skylanders, we have to be careful not to dwell too close to Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh!, or Magic-the-Gathering. I could sit here and come up with elements all day long (fire+water=mist, ice, monk, ect.) While those may look cool, sitting a while longer you'll start to come up with ideas like the new WoW character... a Giant Panda...

Wow so weird was just thinking the same thing.....a 9th element or more!!! haha
Just thinking out loud, I know some of these are close to the original game ones...It's hard to come up with something!

I agree but I also thought just a couple more may not be out of the question. I think it would have to be two and not just one more, though as they always seem to need a counterpoint?

Yes, there would need to be two introduced at a time because each of the elements already has a counterpart:
Life = Undead Fire = Water Magic = Tech Wind = Earth One or two more elements max to be introduced would prolly be okay. I've just been privy to a lot of game series that got over-greedy with the element trees with leaves of 'green'. Maybe even one class that is a score above the rest. Also, while we're on the topic of new Skylanders things, here's a thought: why not introduce toys at McDonalds or BurgerKing or some place like that. Maybe an in-game code to get gems/money/exp? I think it'd be super cool and a great way to introduce the game to the younger generations.

I know what you mean - I tried to think laterally to contrive a couple of new "elements" which did not relate too much to the others.
As for the Macca / BK thing, even if it is simply a disc with a chip in it (a la Volcanic Vault). I am sure that they are actually quite cheap to mass produce, especially given that these ones do not need any memory and just transmit their code to unlock content. Maccas have given out simple hand-held video games before so I am certain that this would not be any more expensive. Here in Oz, I have seen Skylanders starter packs as a component of possible prizes with a brand of ice block, as well as a prize for a battery company here.

Wow! That is just wild that Skylanders have become so big. It's like my husband said (albeit very sarcastically) that they're becoming a form of currency to some degree.

Yah I thought of that too...McDonald's or Burger King would have been a perfect place to get an exclusive figure! Buy any combo and get a Skylanders for $7.99 although not sure I would want a grimace or BK Skylander! haha ![]()

I think there should be light and dark, but no other new ones. We'd start to get very similar elements to the current ones.
