Is the Sunburn character a rip-off? [CLOSED]

Now wait a minute...

I know the concept of a phoenix is quite old, so I'm just joking here.

I do read a comic book called "Extinctioners," a sort of "furry X-men."

One of the characters is "Phenix."
And she's a lot like Sunburn.

Coincidential character design. Phenix is full phoenix, while Sunburn is half dragon half phoenix.

Yeah, I noticed that Sunburns powers were very similar.

The artist, Shawntae Howard, did me a favor a few years ago, he drew my character "Archae."
