What gives with the hats not unlocking? [CLOSED]

I put the Birthday Hat from the Wii version, on my Hex, and put her on my 360 version.

When I remove the hat, it doesn't unlock in my 360 version.

So how am I supposed to get the hat accolade, when I can't unlock console exclusive hats on my 360 version?

I don't think that there's a way to unlock version exclusive hats on a different console yet, but maybe they don't count towards the accolade?

Have a Wii U? My ID and Mii name is OpalOsprey. So why don't you add Mii smilie?

They do not count towards the accolade.

How can you be so sure about that? I mean 3 hats are still off limits with Dragon's Peak and Empire of Ice. How can we be sure the accolade works, if we don't have access to those chapters yet?

Well, then why does the cowboy hat from the 360 version, actually unlock on my Wii version, but not vise versa, with the birthday hat from the Wii version?

Different console versions, no doubt. This has come up before, I believe.

The Cowboy Hat is not the Xbox 360 exclusive, the official guide is wrong. The Xbox 360 exclusive is the Flower Hat.

So despite the fact there are exclusive hats, none are unlocked in other versions of the game (ie Flower Hat on Wii) permanently?

If not, I guess the only thing to consider, is that each exclusive hat can be unlocked on Spyro's Universe for its medal.

I'm looking for an excuse to buy the PS3 version of the game, despite owning the 360 and Wii version.
