Out of the ones I own I like Chop Chop the best with Ignitor being 2nd.

Out of the ones I own the worst is Drill Sargent with Whirlwind being a close 2nd. Drill sargent is hard to use and weak, whirlwind is VERY gimmiky and hard to get her full damage out. (Rainbows destroying the stormclouds is stupid, they should have them bounce but keep the clouds up)

I am going to try alternative upgrade paths on them so my order might change.

My best if probably Sonic Boom

My worst...probably Eruptor. He's just...slow to attack, and not that powerful.

My best are Drobot lv10 with Laser fully upgraded, Spyro lv10 with his fire fully upraded and
Whirlwind lv10 with her electric clouds fully upgraded.
My worst is Bash. I tried both upgrade paths and tail was better. Admittedly he is strong with 80 demage, but he is too slow and needs a rest after a very short time of playing...

My best would be Flameslinger and worst... probably Stealth Elf right now but that's because I can't get comfortable with her yet and she's not fully upgraded.

Favorites: Wrecking Ball, Boomer (his fully upgraded dynamite is REALLY strong plus he looks like a Goblin!), Terrafin, Drobot (love hovering and shooting out the lasers, reminds me of playing centipede)

Least favorites: Whirlwind (try hitting that stormcloud with anything else in the room and it misses), Chop Chop (love his figure but hes so boring to play), Gill Grunt (another one I love the figure hate the gameplay)

get lvl10 and all upgrade and pick the water hose path, the unlimited water for the jetpack will also be of help. after that he aint that bad...

K, my worst Skylander ain't spyro no more. FInally got him yesterday... He's actually pretty fun! Worst is now gill grunt. Cause he's slow... And the squelching sound his feet make when he walks DRIVES ME INSANE.

^That doesn't fix the squelching tho, and the hat doesn't even do that much. Tried that in the Kaos battle... Famous last words.

My overall favourite Skylander would have to be Cynder. Powerful, and cool looking. My overall worst would have to be Lightning Bolt (or enlisted in my game guide as Lighting Bolt) because he looks just so annoying. Possibly Slam Bam, for the same reason.

Now here is my order, beginning with favourite, of just the ones I own, overall, out of appearance, skill and ability to control.

1. Spyro: I know many people like him just because he is the central Skylander, but I actually find him a very good Skylander. He looks attractive, is easy to control, and is, on the whole, a good fighter. Plus, he has the ability to fly for extra speed.
2. Gill Grunt: Many find him annoying due to his... squelching problems... however, he is actually a great character. When his water harpoon is fully upgraded, it works wonders against all enemies, trust me.
3. Drobot: Drobot is one of my newer, lesser upgraded Skylanders, as I only bought him by chance last Thursday, however, he is already a superb character for me. His lasers do lots of damage when they are continuously used.
4. Hex: Hex has always been a much loved character for me since when I first got Skylanders. Admittedly, some attacks are fairly slow, although she does do very good damage against enemies and has beaten Kaos numerous times for me.
5. Zap: Zap has been an incredible character for me. It takes a while to upgrade him, but when he has been upgraded he is a brilliant Skylander. He has amazing speed and his attacks are super too.
6. Trigger Happy: Originally, I found Trigger difficult to control, nevertheless, I have recently became a bit more decent whilst using him. He is now fully upgraded and up levelled. His Flip A Coin attack is brilliant for defeating larger enemies particularly.
7. Dino- Rang: Dino-Rang, I find, is an underestimated Skylander. His boomerang attacks are lethal, and he can defeat various smaller enemies with in. He is also very strong and great for defence.
8. Bash: Unfortunately, I found Bash a lot slower when I bought him than I interpreted. He does have some pretty good moves already, since buying him alongside Drobot, but his slowness makes him an easy target for enemies and he is easily defeated.
9. Wrecking Ball: Of course, Wrecking Ball is super fast, however, I find him slightly gimmicky and childish, with silly belching attacks. Despite this, I suppose he is quite a fun character to play as, although he stays in game for only a short time before needing to rest.
10. Boomer: Although when fully upgraded, Boomer can be a very good, or at least moderate, Skylander, this takes a lot of time and patience, and beforehand he is very tedious to play as and difficult to control. His starter dynamite attacks never go where you plan and end up landing somewhere completely random.

I have 15 skylanders I want to get them all even extras like legendaries and dark spyro my 2nd best is easily sonic boom 3rd is trigger happy 4th is gill grunt I'm not sure about 5th but it's probably Drobot but he is low LVed has lots of upgrades but not all but I shouldn't type more I have homework to do search facts on Tigers and read the worst book ever "Deliver us from Normal" it has loads of curses probably the author trying to make more teens like her and it's sacreligous towards christians TIP: NEVER READ A BOOK WRITTEN BY KATE KLISE P.S. So tired of these best and worse posts. Here is an example for ya.

My son wanted to kick my but in a little PvP. He choose a level 10 fully upgraded trigger happy. He then let me use our level 1 dino rang with no upgrades at all. I most certainly lost more than I won, but honestly, it comes down to skill level of the player. In equal players hands, the 10 should smack around the 1 every day of the week and twice on sunday. The simple fact that I was able to win a few clearly states that it is more about skill than character.

Last time I am saying it,"the best skylanders are the ones in my collection. The worst skylanders are the ones waiting to become apart of my collection."

Stealth Elf has been my favorite since day one; helps that she's off the charts in terms of power. Runner-up is Ignitor, who has defied all of my wildest (low) expectations for him... the arrival of Cynder puts him firmly in the top tier, in my opinion, as he is one of her only reliable counters. Soul of the Flame is one of the most powerful and fun paths of any character in the game.

As for worst, it's a two-horse race between Chop Chop, who I just find to be awful, and Trigger Happy, who is decent in battle but has the defenses of a wet piece of paper. Neither of those two has much worth in PVP, which is most of what I do now.

From what I have:

Best - Cynder. She looks cool, had a lot of fun phrases, and is very powerful.

Worst - Gill Grunt. Damage he inflicts is "meh" and he's pretty slow.

Like I said before, all of my Skylanders are pretty strong and quick. My "worst" one right now has to be the most recent one I baught, though, who is Wrecking Ball/"Bibbles".

best- Spyro - fast, good armour, good critical hit stat, flies (also is my favorite skylander)
worst- Hex - to slow in attack speed (vulnerability)

Best is a tossup between Stump Smash and Bash - we have them maxed out on level and it's always a pretty even match when we go head to head in battlegrounds.

Worst... yeah, sorry Boomer

Best is probably Spyro. I've fully upgraded him, all his abilities, and I'm working him through all the Heroic Challenges. Secondary is Stealth Elf/Double Trouble/Drobot.

Worst is Stump Smash, Boomer and Eruptor. I can't stand slower characters (ESPECIALLY in this game), and Stump Smash/Eruptor just happen to fall into those god forsaken categories. Boomer is just meh.

Best: Legendary Bash or Drobot because Bash can damage up to 180 with Gaia hammer and I am able to complete all of my 21 heroic challenges with Drobot.

Worst: Prisim Break, I like him but I dont like his play style.

My best is probably either Terrafin or Bash and my worst is definitely Wrecking Ball.

BEST: Drobot, Bash: Strong, reliable, can take out a lot at once

WORSE: Gill Grunt: His moves are just anus, he's weak, and he never seems to hit all of a group at once
