I got the Pirate Seas one cause I have completed the game and I needed an earth Skylander (I don't really like any of the earth ones).

It only comes with one extra level! What crap! It cost £25 just for one level and some figures that don't do much!

Also what is the name of Slam Bam's adventure pack? I'm guessing it will be an ice world since there are no ice worlds in the game and he is a snow yetti

Terrafin is pretty awesome. Also, for the figures that don't do much, try putting the expansion on the portal during a boss fight

25 Pounds for the adventure pack seems excessive. How much do the single packs of Skylanders cost in England?

Over here the adventure packs are $20, which is still pretty steep, but I liked the Pirate level, love the pirate hat, got a fun character that plays different than the other characters I have as well as two bonus items that I don't really use but they still look nice. It's not cheap by any means, but worth about what I paid for it I think ($8 for Terrafin and $12 for the level/items/etc).

I'm planning on getting the two unreleased adventure packs when they come out too. Extra Skylanders are always good (more challenges), the extra level is fun, especially when you've played through the original levels several times, and it's more figures/stuff to collect. My biggest issue is that I'm running out of room on the TV stand for the figures.

If you payed £25 for it, you've been ripped of. They're £20 everywhere...

£25? Most I've seen it for is £20.... Cheapest, £18.

The extra items can be helpful though. Although I do agree, £20 is still excessive.

If you take away the £7 for the cost of the Skylander = £13.
Say the level is also worth £7 = £6.
So, each of the items are £3 each.

When you do the maths, doesn't sound like that bad a price. Just a shame that it's cheaper in America because of currency conversion and what-not.

Out of all the shops in the UK, why Best Buy? There are only 6 in the whole country, you could have gone to Argos, Tesco, GAME (all sell the adventure packs for £20) but no... Best Buy. Sorry, but I don't really see the logic.

I do agree the price on these things is a little excessive if you view them as soley "expansion" packs for the game. One level is not worth $20 if you do not care about the items/included skylander.

I do wish they would have at least unlocked a series of two-three levels with a certain theme (like a few pirate missions, few undead missions) instead of just one. Then everyone would certainly agree they are worth the price.

But as someone who also loves having these figurines its definitely worth the money!

Is the Darklight Crypt one even out, yet?

Darklight Crypt should be out; it was exclusive to one store for some time but now seems freely available.

Yeah, it was at Toys-R-Us exclusively since release.

But it was only a 30 day exclusive so should be everywhere now (even though I only see the pirate ship expansion still at most stores).

Yes but New Zealand dollars are much different than American dollars. Its about 1 USD to 1.3 NZD I think.

Hmm, if that true LIttlerain than that's the opposite for the USD to the Euro.

1 euro is 1.35 USD. So basically speaking it's. . . "cheaper" in Europe than anywhere else.

I had to go there cause I went to a one of those retail outlets and that was the only shop that sells games Plus my brother wanted it and paid for it with his own money, I wanted Dragons Peak.

i never heard of a store named siba :/ i was talking about a shop in my small city. the cost around 70-80 kr.

Does anybody know when they'll release the other two adventure packs (Empire Ice? Dragon's Peak?). At this point these are the only items we're interested in getting.

Diffrent characters have diffrent gameplay, diffrent mechanics so its not the end of the world that you have an element in a double. In fact it might encourage people to try other characters rather then sticking to 1 of each element.

Seriously I have to wonder how many people will actually purchase some characters who are not collecting them all (like Wham-Shell, Zook, Double Trouble).

I can see most peoples collections ending up somthing like this =

i am guilty of this 囧 i never use trigger happy or gill grunt. i only use le dragons orz

when i get enough and when they come out im going to get empire of ice and sunburn one and every dragon character

Some of the less popular characters ARE very fun, but they get judged because they're not a dragon (or a griffin, in Sonic Boom's case).

they all look quite interesting in there own way

The cheapest I've seen the adventure packs for in the UK is £14.95 on Zavvi.com. They've also got the triple character packs at this price. The only adventure pack I plan on buying though is Dragon Peaks because it has the only fire character that I want, Sunburn.

yeah that is the best i think... you have the other figurines to level up, buy upgrade, play heroic challenges, get 3 stars on the levels and the trophies... when you have done that you have 4 new levels waiting, it will be great

I got Pirate Seas and Darklight Crypt. I cant wait for the Dragons Peak Adventure Pack to come out! I heard that Sparx comes with it!
