For my sister's 13th birthday, I got her what she's been wanting for a while: Spyro Skylanders. Unfortunately, the one I got was broken because the Portal wouldn't sync no matter what we did, so we took it back to the store and got a new one and it now worked. It was surprisingly really funny and cool, and she really liked it. (:

I got Skylanders today for my 14th Birthday.

I got Spyro for my 35th birthday. My kids love me.

I'm getting it for Christmas. c:

I requested Skylanders for Christmas... I told my aunt so it's safe to assume that I'll get it, knowing her.

I'm getting it through the office, can't wait to have it =x I should have it this week

Lucky you,I'm probably only getting a few toys for my Birthday/Christmas.
I bought the game November 24th from another country and I have to wait for at least 15 days before having any chance of recieving it,but considering how lots of stuff I order always get here days after the limit,I might as well be only playing SKL after my classes are over...
...Now,I the Portal/Any of the toys get here broken...My parents will refuse to buy anything from another country ever again D:

Everything game-related either releases after 4 months in Brazil,or releases in the right day but is 3x more expensive than buying it anywhere else.I found SKL for 300 reais(about 150 dollars) in a Brazilian website,recently,but they said it'd only be avaliable about 2 weeks after the release date AND I'd only recieve it after more 2 weeks.And after seeing a character pack costing LITERALLY 4 times more than the actual price in the same website,I just gave up.

Basically, what makes games here that expensive are the taxes, but the only days where we could buy things for their REAL price(It was last year,'Dia do Jogo Justo' or something),every single game gets sold out in the store.

Back to the topic,I'm not even sure about what could I do if the Portal doesn't work in here.Hopefully,the XBOX360 one has less chances to come that way because it's a wired one,but still...

Wow... I didn't know it was that long in Brazil =/
