This is awesome. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers! <3

What's funny is that the only Oscar he's won WAS for a children's movie... The Lion King! ^.^b

I'm happy that Hans Zimmer enjoys composing the music but I still prefer Stewart Copeland because his music created the atmosphere of the Spyro mythology. Sure it maybe old man music but old music like that is much better than that awful "we're hip like you" songs you hear in most Sonic games nowadays.
Would anyone ever like to have Daisuke Ishiwatari do the music for a Spyro game? If you listen to the music in games like Guilty Gear and Blazblue, you'll know Daisuke's stuff would fit in well to a Spyro game. Rock music!

Odd, because I personally think he's made better stuff than The Lion King. |

Im glad he did something for a dragon game. Because I was hoping he would do for a dragon movie maybe.

Copeland's music I didn't really like (except for Buzz's Dungeon) it was just...I dunno, kinda cheesy IMO.
I like Kneubeuhl's music because of the heavy orchestra (and trumpets. I love trumpets and chorus). It's also why I like Zimmer, I love his style of music. |

I don't like ANY of the Spyro music except for Skylanders. I usually have Ratchet & Clank music up in the background. Also, Lorne Balfe did all the in-game music, Zimmer just composed the main theme (as he has always done, he's never scored a video game). <.<;

I guess Skylanders' fame only increases hate to all the other Spyro games released before. Even Skylander fans are just as cynical as the ones of the Classic and Legend Of.

I've been listening to Zimmer's music in LPs, all it's done is made me fall asleep. I think it's way too slow. But there was a boss battle with sharks or whatever it was, inside a whale? I don't know, and that music was too fast, it's a bit meh to me, nothing has stuck out to be honest, at least with Rebecca there was that one track I actually liked.

She did, though on her site, she lists the Main Theme (what Hans supposedly did) along with the rest of the OST.
