gill grunt and spyro can talk at least in the norwegian dub.

Prism Break can't talk and I don't think Drill Sergeant can either.

Stealth Elf can talk. I don't think Zap talks. And Zook talks.

I don't think Bash or Drobot talk either.

I think Whirlwind can talk, though maybe not exactly English ( Though I swear I heard her say "Duck and cover!" in her trailer) but it does seem like she's talking rather then making grunts and growls. Not exactly sure.

And it seems like Hex will be able to talk.

Bash and Zap can't talk.

Whirlwind speaks in her own language I think, so no. At least, I can't translate her speech ;

Well, I think she CAN talk, just not in perfect English. I've looked over the trailer again as well as Aura's play through of the game where she's used, and I am positive now that she says "Duck and cover!", and then her other "cries" seem like she IS talking rather then growling, grunting or roaring, but just talking in another language (Her own?) rather then english.

You can hear a little speech. But Duck and cover is not what she says - I know what phrase you're referring to.

But you sure? It REALLY sounds like "Duck and cover!" plain and clear to me, though accented, but that would make sense if her speaking language isn't English XP

And no, she says it clearer in the game - Like at the end of Aura's clip. You can hear an 'L' in it. I'm pretty good at working out accents, and I'm 95% certain that is NOT 'duck and cover'.

Yeah, I had to take a double-take before I realized what video that was X'D But, yeah. I'd laugh so hard if it turned out she really did speak Simlish (Though I HIGHLY doubt it, but still, sounds like it )

Drobot may talk, but it's unsure. Remember, his bio says that he wears a voice-over helmet to make him sound menacing. He probably can talk without the voice-over.

Slam Bam talks on the Skylanders The Beginning trailer and Boomer talks on the TV adverts.

Edit: Also added Cynder to the list, she talks in the extended 'The Beginning' trailer.

Whirlwind sounds like she speaks a language we can't understand. It's not like random noises or gibberish. She seems to enunciate some of the syllables in her audio clips.

So Whirlwind cannot speak in English, but Cynder can? That's unfair.
