It's still a bit out of order, as it is tempting for some people.
I don't really mind if I see any spoilers personally. I won't be getting the game, I don't mind reading up about it, and watching videos of it to see what it's like, but it's not really grabbing my attention that much.

No, there is the ability to rename your characters. I presume he renamed it because of the website, not the character.
