I just went to Toys R Us and played the full version of the game! IT'S AMAZING!! It's a whole lot better than it looks, and my mom even said she liked it!

And lucky, I couldn't hear the characters/music, no speakers attached at the event

I played one player, but I should have played two player with my mom.

The music and voices are EPIC!

I went to Toy's R us today but all they had there was a display. how did you play?

What character did you play as?

Where did you go? Did you go to the one on Washington Street? Because if you did, like me, they hadn't set it up yet.

I only have one complaint about the game AND the workers. The game, from what I can tell, doesn't give very good knowledge to you on the controls. :l

The guy who was supposed to set up the game didn't even know what the game was. :l So when I went there and said I wanted to play Skylanders, he showed me over to Mario Kart. Then we had the entire TRU board come down and figure it out. The manager chewed the guy out for not setting up the game. So they had to take everything out of the cases and set up the display, then set up the game. It's kind of sad how a employee from Toys For Bob didn't even know how to work the game. :l

Edit: I played as all three of them, torok. The first level requires all three to get past those parts.

Oh wow. At least our staff knew how to play/do everything

Although I'm sure you didn't have some random kid trying to switch to 2 player when you were playing solo at least ;

lol. I was the first kid to try it out. After all, I watched them take 30 minutes setting it up JUST for me.

I'm like, "Mom, I made a mess just to play a demo for a game that comes out in a few days."

That's good. As much as I don't like the idea of the whole toy thing, this might not be as bad as we all think. Maybe THIS is the Spyro we've been waiting so long for.

^I agree. It IS a whole lot better than the haters think and even what the fans think of it. It looks good, but it's not just good, it's EXTREMELY good. I kept telling my mom to go back to Toys R Us, but she wouldn't.

Hm, probably when you progress through the game. When I got to TRU, the representative guy was already playing it by himself.

Ah, that's true. I won't lie, I was rushing through, skipping most cutscenes so I didn't spoil all of it when I play it properly. I got to Stormy Stronghold before encountering that glitch you saw me post earlier and after that, the game wouldn't let me progress further (due to aforementioned bug).

I forgot to mention that at Toy's R Us, the screen on top of the display showed a mini trailer of whirlwind!

D'awwww! By the time I could go to Toys R' Us, it was closed

I wanted to...but me and my friend got too tied up in playing Halo 3: ODST (we beat the game in one sitting ) that by the time we got there, TRU was already closed.

You can never check too carefully.

Yep...

To get everything in the game, I think you need at least one of every character, as each level requires 2-4 different elements to complete it.

Can you imagine buying Skylanders, bringing it home to find that it's all glitchy like ETD.
