1. It'd be a very emotional moment. Something I wouldn't at all expect from a kids game like Skylanders, and it'd probably make playing as her the best part of the game. She already has the best backstory out of all of the characters. Do pull a twist like that in a kids game would be something I must commend them for.
2. I would be very passive, and wouldn't care. I've seen it before in a kids film. Honestly tired of seeing happy endings. Yeah, I know I'm evil.
3. I'd give it a look.
........
EDIT: Turns out I'm alone when it comes to my answer for #1. I'm just looking for originality and good storytelling.

1. It'd be sad, but I doubt death would be done in Skylanders, I think they want it to be all light and happy.
2. I expect it to happen in the end cutscene when Kaos is defeated. Maybe you'll see it closely if you were playing as her when you beat Kaos or had played as her for a certain amount of time in the game, or maybe they'll do something for all the Skylanders and you see her and her babies in the end in a sort of group shot or fleeting shot.
3. I doubt it'll happen, this game is being done to bost Spyro's popularity, so HE can have a game.

1. How would you react if they killed sonic boom off?
I really don't see how a playable character dying in the story would work given their physical nature. Would it only happen at the end cutscene in that "the end of the game didn't happen" fashion that is ever-so-common in games?
It'd be sad, especially if her babies kept trying to get her to wake up...
2. How would you react if sonic boom got her babies back?
She still has her babies, they're just stuck in a loop. It'd be cute if her attacks changed to fling her already-hatched babies instead of eggs.
3. And how would you react if sonic boom made it into a game where it's just herself as the main character.
Awesome
to be honest, i think if they did not do deaths in skylanders, skylanders 2 (if it comes) might kill off a character or 2 for the story progression. But who knows. Although im a classic spyro fan, i miss the LOS spyro series like crazy.
They wouldn't so it's not worth discussing. As I said, Skylanders is supposed to bost Spyro's popularity so he can have his own game, but how does that work if they kill him? And as for killing him JUST becasue the game's popular... That doesn't even make a little bit of sense.

Call me a terrible person, but that'd be the icing on the cake. I'd give the game a virtual Oscar for Best Storytelling for giving us something different, emotional, and tearjerking, rather than the standard happy ending that we've all seen several times over.

Although, I think Sonic Boom dying, and her babies trying to wake her up, would be just as generic as a happy ending, as it's been done a lot of times, even in kid's shows.

The Lion King.
1.) It wouldn't happen, especially since SB is an optional character.
2.) That'd be sweeeeet.

1. I would be interested. That would be a nice twist to add. As CAV said, Sonic Boom has the best story out of all of them, which would make her fun to play as. I would certainly give Activision high ratings it they had that, but they won't because it's a kids' game.
2. Nope. Too predictable. I don't like happy endings, they get so very much annoying. I know, I'm evil.
3. I would look into it. It could be very interesting.

As a figure you'll probably showing your two fingers up and smiling at the same time, I was going to say how you smile but I've lost the word for it. URGH!
I think Sonic Boom is a cool character, but not the coolest indeed. I do not want activision to spend their budget in a exlcusive's sonic boom game...I want Skylanders, I want spyro. I think that the dragon-like characters and the human-like ones (stealth elf, flameslinger, lightning rod), may have more success.
