Patrick Warburton is confirmed as one of the major secondary characters in Skylanders!!

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/impressions/28003

Oooo! He did the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the old Disney cartoon Buzz Lightyear of Star Command! I LOVe that, show, it's on my MP3 Player! Oh, I hope performs well in Skylanders! I wonder what type of character he'll play? A hero perhaps? Speaking of, is a secondary character in this case an NPC or a lesser playable toy character?

Depends on if they were given a copy by Activision. Many people/companies have already played it now.

My first guess is Lightning Rod, one of the Skylanders, since he's a macho-like character X3

EDIT: SkylandersGame uploaded more vids, but they put them, along with the other new videos, in private.

Terrafin's biography:

Terrafin hails from The Dirt Seas, where it was common to swim, bathe, and even snorkel beneath the ground. But a powerful explosion in the sky created a blast wave that turned the ocean of sand into a vast sheet of glass, putting an end to Terrafin's duty as the local lifeguard. Not one to stay idle, the brawny dirt shark found himself training in the art of boxing, and not long after he was local champ. Fighters came from all around to challenge him, but it was a chance meeting with a great Portal Master that led him to give up his title for a greater purpose.

Ghost Roaster's Biography:

There was a time when Ghost Roaster was neither a ghost nor a roaster. Instead he was a chef living in a village high in the mountains. One day, while clipping wool from a sheep to use in a recipe, he accidentally fell into the Valley of the Undead and transformed into a ghost eating ghoul! After eating an entire spectral village, its Ethereal Ruler chained Ghost Roaster to a spiked ball as punishment -- its rattle heard as he wanders the night, warning nearby spirits. When Master Eon eventually heard of his predicament, he figured even a ghost eater could be useful. So he made Ghost Roaster a Skylander... after he promised to eat only evil ghosts.

Here's Drobot's:

Dragons are smart, but none so much as Drobot. He was born in the highest reaches of Skylands, where dragons spent all their time competing in aerial battles. But Drobot was more interested in taking things apart to see how they worked. While exploring one day, he came upon some mysterious technology, which he used to assemble a robotic suit. Features include laser beams that shoot from his eyes, flight enhancement technology, a vocal synthesizer that gives him a deep booming voice, and the ability to shoot spinning gears. With such power -- more than most other dragons -- Drobot joined the Skylanders to help protect the residents of Skylands.

And Boomer's:

As a young troll, Boomer loved to blow things up -- particularly sheep. Later, he was drafted into the troll army, where they gave him LOTS of things to blow up. However, Boomer realized the sole mission of the army was war and conquest. Even though he was a troll, these things didn't interest him. So he left the trolls after saving a town from being destroyed by them. Not long after, he was invited to be a Skylander -- the only troll ever to win such an honor. Now he uses his explosive skills to fight evil... much to the relief of sheep everywhere.

Oh, so Drobot's not actually a cyborg? Or Dragborg, whatever?

Spyro's voice could work, it's almost got the right kind of rasp to it, but I don't think I care for Gill's voice. It's hard to explain, it just sounds I dunno, wrong. I think I hear some kind of accent in it. Nope, not at all what I would have chosen for him judging from that at least, but it may differ later on.

...Seriously?

I played Sonic games in a store more than once. I even play games that are tie-ins to kids movies in stores. Didn't get any funny looks.
And last year, I bought Sonic Colours during my school lunch break. After school, I went to rehearsals for the school musical. One of the local girls schools was also joining us. So, during the breaks and what not, while my friend was trying to chat up girls, along with pretty much every other guy - I was there reading my Sonic Colours Instruction Manual, and I wasn't hiding it either.

And, on November 4th, if I have enough money on me by then, I'll be strolling into GameStop to buy myself the Sonic Generations Collectors Edition after school....

Also, Planet XBox 360 took a look at Skylanders and mentions Patrick Warburton playing as 'an overconfident, cocky pilot who agrees to help you rescue someone – as long as he gets the credit'. The only pilot seen so far is Flynn, the character who takes you to different areas in Skylands.

It shouldn't matter what age you are. Heck, I've walked into Toys R Us more than once to download a Pokemon...with my mom, who also brought her games. And she's fifty. And I'm a teenager. But we both pull out our games and download those Pokemon...like a boss. And if we see a demo for a game we're interested in, we'll take a look. If people want to judge us, silently or otherwise, who cares? They're just some random person.

Also...is this just over the weekend, or what? I might go and check it out, if I get the chance.

I don't get the fuss over adults and teens buying 'kid's stuff'. You like what you like, and you have right ot enjoy them, and anyone who thinks less of you or gives you a hard time (in a non joking manner) for something as inconsequencial as playing children's video games is clarly no friend of yours and so thier opinions of you don't really matter.
