No it wasn't the overview
It just showed the toys and gameplay of Spyro,Gill Grunt, Trigger Happy, Eruptor, and Terrafin and then the narrator of the trailer said some funny dialogue as Terrafin and Eruptor.

Huh. I've watched the trailer a few times. The figure of Spyro is black with orange wings and Stealth Elf is wearing black clothes with gold bands instead of her usual brown clothes with darker brown bands. Maybe it's the way your camera picked up the colors?

I used a video capture device to record the ad, it could be the color saturation. But we know that Dark Spyro is midnight blue and silver, not midnight blue and orange lol

It's either the color saturation of the recording, Razz, or it could be the lighting on the ad. Spyrocrash's upload showed the same exact coloration as mine. :3

I don't think Spyro sounds like Elijah and Tom at all, but the voice-over is really good. It suits Spyro quite well.

I really like Spyro's new voice too, it seems a lot better than Elijah who couldn't do a voice-over for rubbish, he's much better being an actor really. No, I don't think Spyro's got a German accent at all.

I haven't seen the commercial on TV yet. It's strange, I saw the DOTD advertisement a year after it came out on channel Milkshake, I was watching it with my Sister, lol. She wanted me to sit with her, I couldn't exactly say no could I.
