I need to be honest, at first I was just shocked. Now, I just have mixed feelings. They bring back Cynder, the newer character's that is basically only there for Spyro's love interest, when they could've brought back Hunter or even better, Sparx! But I think we should be somewhat greatful that they had the courtesy to bring back one character from one of the other series.

Sparx would make more sense. Even LOS had him, and he was useless in it.

Because it related to the topic at hand. Everyone was calling me a dirty scaly, so I used an analogy using dragon and dragoness in place of man and woman to use the whole scaly thing as a weapon against them.

Exactly. My entire point is if I wanted a female in the game, she better be a half decent girl. One you'd WANT to be friends/lovers (for lack of a better word, used for analogy) with, not one who looks like she'd chain you to her bed and make you scream for mercy.

Seeing how the game seems to be a reboot of some sort, I doubt any love interest would happen.

And once again, how the hell would Sparx work in the game, without making him bigger? I can't imagine a very tiny Sparx making a good playable character in the game.

You and me both, I also have a very strong one-mate-for-life policy. Your ideas on this sound very much like my own.

And about Sparx CAV, I think it would be fun and cute if you could put a little tiny Sparx on that Portal and play around as him in the world. Imagine, if you put Spyro and Sparx on the portal at once and had two players, it could almost look like the Classic Spyros. Sparx would almost definitely be Magic if he were in this game...

^The only way I can find Sparx in this game is if they secretly put him in the game, in which he appears by your side if you find him somewhere, in which he becomes a health boost of some sort.

Sparx was playable in YotD. It's not a totally impossible to do idea.

That's a good idea. When equipped, he could occasionally restore your health or raise your max hp.

Or Sparx can provide invulnerability for thirty seconds, then after ten seconds has gone he'll turn blue, then another ten has gone etc. Then you have to wait for five minutes for it to work again.

that idea is good.

Another possibility is the Old Spyro 1-2-3-Gone hit system. Once he's gone, then until x of y has been collected (maybe those weirdo rings), you must rely on your own health.

I rather sparx would be the in-game commentator or Player vs Player announcer

My problem, as I thought I'd said often enough, was with the poor story, specific illogical plot points, the repatitive gameplay, the poor leading characters, and the insane fanbase.
Note that poor is a weak word for how I really feel, but I just don't have the energy to write out a long post detail exactly why I dislike it.

Other than Sparx I enjoy other characters like the Guardians and the Chronicler.

I agree, it's almost, or is, hypocritical.

Oh, it's very hypocritical. Same goes for the people who were fine with Skylanders but are now whining that they've gone too far because they put her in it, claiming that it either ruined the game (just don't buy Cynder, duh) or that ruining Cynder is just a step too far (Cyndoooork!). It's pretty lame either way.
