Just curious as to how many people are going to get Skylanders first-thing? I'll probably wait until Christmas; I want to see which version turns out to be the best before I buy it!

I shall likely wait a bit, just to see what other folks are saying about it. (Plus I need to save some currency to afford it )

I've already pre-ordered it. Mostly because I want to get a review done for my website and also because I want to get as much practice before I play it in this charity stream thing that I'm doing in December... BUSY BUSY!

My parents want me to wait for X-mas to get it because october is close to X-mas even though i have enough money to get it.

I'll be buying the Wii version during the release and getting the 3DS version for xmas since that's when I'm getting a 3DS.

I don't have enough to buy Skylanders. I'll be reading up on reviews and walkthroughs and/or wait until the price is lowered to buy it.

I'll buy it the day it comes out, straight down in Toys R Us. However, last year I tried to buy DotD on it's release, but GameStop didn't receive it until another three days. WTF?!!

Yeah I noticed that Toys R Us had DotD the day it was released. :3 They're like the first gaming stores that have the games right on time.

I went to GameStop three times in a row checking to see if they had it, but they said it was still in the warehouse.

Buy it when it's released. I never really spend b-day money on anything other than Spyro games anyway, so yeah...

I've been saving money in my Spyro fund since 2008, I can afford six new Spyro games, so I'm covered for life.

What I just had to say it

I've had hit or miss luck with TRU getting games on time, but since the have a deal to carry exclusive merchandise, they should get Skylanders on time.

I want to get one of the games and a figure or two on launch, and the other game later when/if there's a price drop/sale.

I'd pre-order if I could,but Toys For Bob doesn't allow preorders if you use Paypal,so I'll have to wait to buy it online.And the worst is that there is no Toys For Bob store in my country,or at least I have yet to see one.

Toys for Bob store? Either that was a mistake or I'm missing something. Why don't you just pre-order it from Amazon and have it delivered?

We can't buy stuff from Amazon as I live in Brazil,or at least that's what my father said.But we already bought some things with Paypal recently,but when we went to the Toys R Us(yeah,I mistook the name,sorry D: ) website to pre-order the Starter Pack,it says that we can't preorder if we use Paypal.

But I can wait anyway,I don't even have the money to buy it anymore.Books,why you make me spend all my money? ;n;

I'll most likely pre order for the PS3 next week or so(have not decided yet rather to pre order it or buy it after the release date).
I'm liking the look and feel of the game so far.
I'm starting to get rather fond of it.

I'll probably buy it on the release date. I'm not risking getting the game the day after the release date by mail.
