Which Skylander do you think has the most tragic backstory so far? And according to his or her backstory, which Skylander is more of a leader than the other Skylanders?

I think the Skylander with the most tragic backstory is Sonic Boom since she is to forever watch her babies hatch, only for them to magically return into their egg shells over and over again in an endless cycle after they've lived out of their eggs for only a short while.

And I think the Skylander who is more a leader than the other Skylanders, is Spyro himself. As evident in his backstory:

"Spyro hails from a rare line of magical purple dragons that come from a faraway land few have ever traveled. He has been on many exciting adventures, and has a remarkable knowledge of the different lands he protects, more so than any other Skylander. A strong‐willed dragon who is young at heart, Spyro is fearless and brave. A true hero dedicated to defending his world from all things evil."

Can't have much tragic in this, Classic didn't have most of a grim tragic feel (unless you felt sorry for Red)

If this game was going to be serious like Legend was then I say Spyro be getting hit hard, nothing like losing comrades in battle and having deranged skeletons and Gun hopping mammals

Some of the Skylanders have tragic or sad backstories, Jack.

sonic booms backstory is just...i find it horrible and mentally scarring. i wonder why?

A mother having to forever watch her babies hatch and go back into eggs again and again, never seeing them grow up.. I got a feeling the Toy Story writers had a hand in writing the character backstories for each Skylander.

^But at the same time, having them grow up means they would eventually leave her. That's often the hardest part of motherhood: Watching your child leave and live on his/her own.

Tragic: Definitivelly Sonic Boom, it's even leading to (quess who is the obvious wizard casting the curse) :

..will......
*cracks fist*
..will everything....
GO BACK TO NORMAL IF I KILL TS- KAOS....?!


And yes, Spyro is born leader, why not?

I know!! I feel so bad for Bash... I know how he feels.

No matter how tragic Sonic Boom's backstory is... I love it! Thank God some of the staff working on Skylanders came from an animation background.

I think Sonic Boom's is very tragic, and Spyro is the best leader

It's weird these cartoony people have dark backstories

For me its a tie between Sonic Boom and Stealth Elf for sad back stories. Sonic Booms children and Then Stealth Elf doesn't know her origins.


As for a leader Spyro's the perfect leader. Maybe Gill Grunt could be second in command.

She never got to that point, and by the end of this game Sonic boom's problemo will be fixed

And you know that how? You don't, you never played the game. You're speculating.

^Nothing wrong with predicting the end of a story. That's what people did with LoS.

Besides, he probably has it right. There's almost always a happy ending in kids games. I won't be surprised if this game isn't an exception.

Yeah, I guess it's possible. Maybe at the end, in the credits, we'll see each Skylanders' ending.

You'd probably just get an ending after beating the game with a certain character.

i shure hope spyro dont become TOO perfect leader-ish.

Since we're talking about endings, I hope we get to see Gill Grunt rescue his mermaid girlfriend :3c
