I don't see any resemblance of the characters in Despicable Me to Flynn..

I thought he looked like someone you would see in Ratchet and Clank.

Also, the guidebook said that he's a human but I think he looks more like a badger or any other animal.

He looks like the main villan of Ratchet Deadlock.

He's an npc and you'll find him in the guidebook. According to Spyro Wikia, he's like the balloonists from the first game.

Yeah, Flynn is the one who takes you to different areas in Skylands in Skylanders using a hot air balloon.
