That would be kind of awesome if the web version had some multiplayer aspects, or at least co-op.

I just wanna say this: The thing that bugs me is the crud morals people show on this site through Spyro-related arguements. I know, People will say 'BAWWW! You're crud too!' Well fine maybe I am, I don't really care. Furthermore, as I said, I'm no jerk, not really, and I wont be a jerk online all the time, at least not to people I like. And to those who say I shouldn't take out rage on anyone, I don't really care, those who I dislike don't matter to me at all, especially those I meet online, because thier anger has no consequence on me, except say an all caps message and teh lawls that it brings. That is all, don't bother arguing that, any post trying to do so will fall on unseeing eyes, so to speak.

Anyway, Still getting it for PC, there's the prospect of mods and character torrents. Though I must say, 3DS version looks cool, but I'm too frugal these days to drop any money on a console, especially for one game, especially if I've already got consoles that'll run it.

I can't decide which console i want Skylanders on because I got a Wii, 360, and PC.

I'll likely get it for PS3 if I get it at all, as I don't have a 3DS yet. However, if they all of a sudden announced online play on console versions, I might have to go for Wii...

I've made up my mind about which console version of Skylanders I'm getting. I'll be getting it for the PS3 (I need more games for it. ) and later on, get the 3DS version.

^I'll get Wii and possibly 3DS later on. I still have to buy a 3DS, though.

I don't really like the Wii, I find it hard to control, so I won't be getting it on the Wii.

I HAVE to get it on Wii. I don't have an Xbox or a PS3, and there is no way my mom will let me get it for PC.

You're not exactly helping by arguing back at someone are you? Instead of trying to understand that the person is troubled, and arguing with that particular person will just make it worse.

Okay, everyone? Shut up. Please. This is the Skylanders news topic. Take your personal grievances to PMs and GBs, okay? I don't know about anyone else, but I'm frankly sick of hearing about this.

And just as a tip to add to that:
I'd recommend you guys keep really personal stuff to PMs. I recently let a discussion on a very personal matter get onto my GB, and suddenly, every other discussion going on in my GB stopped. Same goes for the forums. Personal matters to most people here are like what garlic is to vampires.

Speaking of which, a vampire character wouldn't seem like too bad an idea for Skylanders...

There is a vampire in Skylanders: Kaos! At least, that's what I think. Last I checked, humans didn't have fangs, Nosferatu fingers, or red eyes.

No, I am not kidding. So do some of my family members on my Dad's side.

Also, Kaos may not be playable...and at that, I have a hunch that the second toyline in 2012 will have all the bad guy characters playable.

Man, that would be cool! I want a Kaos figure, I really do. He looks hilarious.

I'd love to see how he runs around...
...unless of course we may have another Exdeath, which I could see happening with Kaos...

3DS version doesn't look near as good as I had hoped.
And the console version looks as boring as ever.

They pretty much look on par with each other.

I thought the 3DS version looked fun. As for the console versions, the game just keeps getting better and better.

I feel like I have played a thousand movie tie-in games on the DS which are just like 3DS Skylanders.

And the console version, to be honest...I think my biggest problem with it is that the level design looks shhhhnnnnooooooorring.....same can be said for 3DS...

I'm with PikaSpyro on this one. I didn't actually expect to want to play anything on the 3DS, ever, but now... I don't want to play it $240 worth, though.

Oh, 3DS Skylanders reminds me of DS TEN. That's the game I was really thinking of.

Gah! D: I guess it really is all in the eye of the beholder because DS TEN didn't look for to play at any time as far as I was concerned (and it wasn't fun to play).

Well, I've waited for a while and there is nothing about Skylanders on the Nintendo channel on my Wii. Strange thing, I've looked so many times, I searched the data base and there is nothing about Skylanders.

There probably won't be until closer to release. It was only recently announced that a company was even doing a digital ad campaign for Skylanders, so give them some time.

So according to the vid(Wii to 3DS), is it possible to use Dark Spyro?

Yeah, Dark Spyro is playable on all other consoles.

Why is it exclusive to the 3DS if its usable on other consoles= makes no sense.

Maybe they didnt expect dark Spyro to be so popular

Maybe older gamers will get the 3DS version while the siblings get the console version then everyone gets Dark Spyro.

They've actually put him in as a 3DS exclusive in the hopes that it will help sell more copies of the 3DS version. Given how poorly the 3DS is doing, I don't blame them. I still kind of have my fingers crossed that they'll release a DS version minus the 3D.

Also found an interview with John Mintz about the 3DS version. I don't think there's anything new in it, but there's a slightly better look at the Dark Spyro figure.
