Skylanders is more "classic Spyro" as TLOS.

I think it's way more like LoS in terms of gameplay. Only a dunbed down LoS battle system.
As for tone, it doesn't remind me of either Classic or LoS. I just feels like one of those random kid's shows.

I find it more akin to the classics in spirit, style, and gameplay.

Yeah, I remember when Disney games were good. Old Disney games were probably some of the best platformers I'd ever played. Especially 102/101 dalmations! Far behind Spyro, but still great.

I absolutely loved the Toy Story 2 platformer. I still have it, though I can't play it at the moment.

I absolutely loved the Toy Story 2 platformer. I still have it, though I can't play it at the moment.

I regret selling those platformers I listed, at least I decided to keep Spyro, I think it was because I wanted to get a little bit of extra money for a couple of PlayStation 2 games, I just wanted a few extra pounds to help me out, but in the end, I would still rather have those platformers, I think I wanted to get two games, one would be Gun and the other would be The Godfather. They are good games but not exactly anything fantastic.

Oh Celestia - I've been gone 4-5 weeks due to summer school and I'm missing a bunch of stuff from being updated! From what I can see through the power of skimming, more stuff has been revealed - a bunch of packaging has been revealed, some new video game footage, and more info revealed. A bit slow on releasing info but that's alright.

...I need to update the documents soon enough.

I think it would be a good idea to not comment on this topic until the next big update. We need space for these updates, and whatever discussions that inevitably follow. And if the topic closes, iSO cannot edit the reserved posts either. So I think we should keep random discussion to other areas of the forums.

Are you sure that's the real European price? Because it looks like the US price, right down to including the dollar sign instead of the euro sign. I'm pretty sure I've seen the UK price and it was less than that.

Yes this is the Euro (€) price. The UK has Pound (£) and the UK is cheaper than other European countries, which have the €

69,99 us dollar are 49€
69,99 € are 100 us dollar.

So I'm led to believe that all the 'evils' of activision that you loathed so much, from greed to bad business are all forgiven simply because there's a neat looking Spyro game on the way, even though the gimmick in it is a clear sign of the greed you once ranted aout? Aura, you are SO deep.

I remember when I began to change my mind on liking Dawn of the Dragon and Aura just said that I have always hated it, like I wasn't allowed to change my mind at all, this was quite a while back though, I've gone through the stage of hating it, starting to sort of like it, then to not bothered with it at all.

I think Aura24 has annoyed SpyroLUVA so much in the past, that she has sort of become fed up of her and that's probably why she isn't as nice to Aura as she used to be, that's my guess.

It's still up somewhere in the DotD section in the 2008 timeline; I know that that very topic was closed down by dark52 before it got out of hand.

Cynder does look like a dark purple in DOTD, but in ANB and TEN she looks black. I do remember that topic now, I don't remember finding it that annoying, there has been worse.
