Have you heard about the beta of Spyro year of the dragon Japanese? Thought all you people on the internet maybe interested. Well the Japanese version was never released and not many people knew about it. So I emailed Insomniac and they told me a company called Sugar and Rockets were making a Japanese version of the game, but the problem is they went out of business. I wanted to get in touch with them but I couldn't. So I thought what if I could get into their archives stored on their old pcs. Well with a lot of IP tracking I got into their network and took a bunch of files. One of them I believe to be the spyro 3 Japanese Iso named: SPYRO3.ELF I'm gunna try and decode it and see if I can make an iso of it. I also found some spyro 3 Japanese posters and the Japanese logo. There are still loads of hidden files I need to decode and if I find them I will post the here. First the logo:

They obviously didn't spend much time on the logo, looks pixely, next is a poster.


They must have done this poster quickly as it is almost exactly the same as the western poster. Next we have the Japanese opening:

Japanese Spyro would be interesting to play, though, I must say.

The Japanese version was also going to have extra stuff, just like the Japanese version of Spyro 1 and 2, to make it apeal more to Japanese gamers. They would probably even change the story a bit.

I'm not too bothered about playing the Japanese versions of Spyro, but isn't it illegal to go through a companies files, create and release an iso of it?

Yep it is but this is some awesome new infomation, I don't think they would find out, besides sugar and rockets are out of buisness now.

I know, I can't stop laughing at the name either. It sounds like a name for a candy shop with comic books.
