Ughhh, the price of the whole game is just way too much for me. It looks cool, but once I bought one toy, I'd feel obligated to buy the rest... which I believe is Activision's strategy.

Getting the toys isn't necessary.

So if this game is successful, they'll give Spyro his own game, completely unrelated to Skylanders? Or would it be in the Skylander's Universe. I'm simply curious.

It could be a Skylanders style game of course, or another reboot>? Even returning to an existing Universe, which I find highly unlikely, but still possible. I find another reboot most likely.. But what do I know.

I pretty much decided to get the 3DS version. First I need a 3DS.

I'm getting the 3DS version first, and may get the PC version eventually. Hm.

Well, whaddya know, Kaos seems to be a more interesting villain than I was expecting.

Hell, this entire game has more humour than I was expecting. Colour me more interested than I was before.

I don't know if this is new or not, but I don't remember seeing it posted anywhere. The Irate Gamer takes a look at Skylanders at E3. In the background near the end, you can see a character talking and a zeppelin flying around, which is pretty awesome.

Yeah that character would be Flynn, the one navigating the zeppelin, and his job is probably taking the Skylanders to each of their destination in Skylanders.

I've not seen mention of Flynn before. He sounds like the balloonist from the first Spyro. Do you have any more info about him? Are there any clearer looks at him?

He appears as an image in the Game Pause screen as the Map icon in a E3 gameplay footage by Game Trailers.

And yeah, his role is similar to the Balloonist from the first Spyro game. :3
