I think it will be an awesome win, but I may change my mind after its out. But I really think it is awesome.
For those that say no just because Spyro looks like a troll, I say get over it. When someone hears the word "dragon" the first thing that pops in their head isn't usually "cute".
But the cost of money is a bit expensive. I'm sure the game will be great, but I'm not sure if $70 is as fair as it could be, not mentioning seven dollars per toy. But there isn't really anything we can do about that.

It'll succeed, but there is now way in hell I'm buying it.

you know what? i feel like whenever a person says that he/she has seen the gameplay and all, and says that he/she doesnt quite like it, and this is his option, everyone is like:

''OMG**YOU**HAVENT**PLAYED**THE**GAME**YOU**DONT**KNOW**ANYTHING**GTFO UR A TROLL!!!!!!!''

but if he/she says that he/she likes how the game is turning out, everyone agrees.

on topic: i think the game looks rather fun, but i dont like the idea that there are so many different toys even if you just need spyro to complete the game. i mean is a clever idea but you have to buy so much if you want to have them all and stuff..

For now, I think it's an "awesome win". The gameplay, so far, looks pretty good, and I like the concept of the figurines and how they act as "memory cards" that are compatible with every console.

Sales wise, I also think it may do quite well. A good number of kids like video games, and those who do may be drawn into the world of Skylanders, as well as the figurines. Some of them may also want to collect them all. So, it wouldn't surprise me if Skylanders turns out to be a success.

I now I'm a bit late for this, but: this coming from someone who has the Skylander Spyro for an avatar pic, it will succeed, its imperative that it doesn't. Really, a game with so many hits, and its not even out yet.

I will wait and see. But honestly I'm sure I will get this game. It has that whimsical feeling and I'm intrigued.
