Pretty much what the topic title says. Just list the Skylanders toys you think you're going to get.

Zap, Gill Grunt (IF YOU COUNT HIM IN THE STARTER PACK AS GETTING), AND Prism Break.

Other then Spyro...Grill, Zap , (other dragons) prism break and chop chop with a slice of ignitor.

They will look good as tiny statues for my collection that consists of star wars and doctor who etc stuff.

More characters are being announced

Spyro,Zap, Gill Grunt, Stealth Elf, Trigger Happy, the griffon and the two feather dragons.

I don't know if I'll be able to get any more besides the three that come with the game, but if I can, I want Chop Chop and any other dragons they have. And maybe Trigger Happy (don't remember whether that comes with the game or not.)

Me too. I'm pretty sure my mom will get me the game, but I'm not so sure if she'll get me any of the toys.

I bet after I get the game she'll be all like
"NO, I BOUGHT YOU THE GAME. NOW PLAY IT"

Oh wow. With my mom, it would depend on her mood.

If she's in a good mood: "I'm sorry, honey, but we can't afford any right now."
If she's in a bad mood: "I just spent like, 70$ on this game and you want me to buy you MORE OF THESE TOYS!!?? NO!!"

I dunno... There's alot I like, but I'm nearing the end of my schooling and there's alot of more important things I need my money for. So I need to be frugal, especially since it's so hard to get steady work around here. Also, I wanna wait until I can see a full list of all avaliable characters, complete with charater bios and maybe some kind of gameplay footage. I'm still holding out for online character demos too.

I told my parents about needing to toys to play the game, and they ask me if i need all of the toys i said no and they said well just buy the toys you want.

Just gimme the ones with wings... you can have the rest. And perhaps Zap, if he can swim underwater. I still haven't seen any characters do that...

Well, the starter pack that comes with the game has Spyro and Gil Grunt, who I both really want.

I'm getting Spyro, Trigger happy, Gill grunt, Zap, the black griffin, and a Few other dragon characters. I will also choose the red dragon/bird character.

Not that bad considering you get three toys (regularly priced at 6-8 dollars) a portal toy reader thingy and some cards, only for then dollars over the usual new game price of 60$.

Yeah, I know my mom isn't going to pay for it. I always have to buy games with my money. $70? I thought it was $60!

From the actual question of this page: I would Stick to Spyro first, and probly max-out, then go to the next character, and threwout the rest of the game, swiching back to him for old-times sake. Maby chop chop nex if not the other dragons first.

Knowing my sister, who is unusually enthusiastic about this, we'll probably end up with practically all of them, but the definates are Spyro, Gill Grunt, Trigger Happy, Zap and all other dragons, griffin, and if any cat-like characters turn up I'll want them... The list will probably expand when I've have seen more of them.

Yep I know I've kept track of the game since it was 1st announced. Still going be hard to swallow spending $70 on it. Just wonder how much of the game will be missed if you don't get all of them. But that's too expensive for one game.

its not too saddening a loss, 8 to 12 hrs per character times three means 24 to 36 hours for the starter pack alone.

That "12 hours per character thing" is bull.

It's the same game the whole way true. If you feel it necessary to go through every level with every character, then be my guest. But it's just gonna be the same levels with each character. There is no point in going through it over and over again.

oh come on sonicbrawler, you never know, and even if your right about each character carrying near-identical play styles than so be it, it could still be fun to play through using a different character such as spyro and then zap, you never know for certain.

I might get other dragons then the starter pack of course.
