Hey, I just noticed that we may be fighting each character's species in the game.



Like in the screenshot here with Trigger Happy fighting a couple of enemies that looks like Stealth Elf.

And in Gill Grunt's character trailer when he took out a lava monster enemy that looked like Eruptor.



And in the gameplay that showed Leviathan Lagoon, we will fight enemies that are similar to Gill Grunt there.

Does this mean that our heroes might be......anarchists?

Or the enemies could've been controlled by Kaos.

I now actually think that khaos, is Spyro's kind.

But Kaos is a Portal Master. And Portal Masters are supposed to be young players in the real world, capable of controlling all the playable characters in the game.

Okay is the final boss the portal master?

That's actually a good thing, to have others of the characters' kinds. It always kind of bugs me a little when the character you play is the one and only of its sort and ecspecially if everyone else is in multiples. It makes the main character stand out a little TOO much, like he doesn't fit in his own world...

The final boss should be Kaos, the evil Portal Master. He's the main antagonist.

Maybe Kaos will have a selection of toys that he uses himself to kill you! Such as dark versions of all the characters. He could, for example, use a dark version of the character that you're playing as.

Such as Dark Spyro. O.o

Exactly... Maybe Dark Spyro is cannon and a special just for the nostalgia purpose.

I'd be nice if you get him by beating Kaos.

Just because the players are portal masters, doesn't mean Kaos has to be human because he's a portal master. I'm still expecing some generic glowy wizard type character.

If it is true that the characters have other characters of their species, then I'm thinking maybe the other character of Spyro's species is a purple dragon. Kaos (Sorcerer?) maybe?

I'm hoping the Sorceror makes a reappearance in the form of Kaos. I don't recall anything saying all Portal Masters were human.
I like the idea of him/her using a selection of toys. The idea of dark counterparts might not work unless that excluded Spyro, because his Dark Form will be playable anyway.
And there are some other enemies in the three new trailers. I briefly saw something holding an anchor and some crabs.

I'm also hoping we get to beat up some Gremlins, the same kind as Trigger Happy. They would be awesome enemies.

I think that Kaos is the Sorcerer. SL doesn't give us his real name, so I'm guessing it will be.

Yes, but maybe playing as Dark Spyro isn't cannon. Much like playing as Dark Spyro once you've completed the Dragon challenges in TEN isn't cannon.

I'm not really all that bothered about dark Spyro, it's just a skin at the end of the day, sounds like a random gimmick being thrown into it to try and make it better when we really shouldn't be worrying about that right now, and focus on the gameplay aspect first.

It's for the Legend of Spyro fans, which I have nothing against.

Neither do I. The LoS fans will be the only people who know who Dark Spyro is and where he came from once the game comes out. You'd have to have played the games to know why they threw him in there.

dark Spyro is from The Eternal Night.

He's also from Dawn of the Dragon.

He was playable in TEN as a skin, but he also makes an appearance in DotD.

That's what I just said. He appears in TEN and DotD, but he is only playable in TEN.

I think he only appears in DOTD once and then Cynder does the same thing too. Wouldn't it have made more sense if it had happened to her in TEN too since she went through the convexity portal aswell? Never mind.

And how would you know if Cynder was Dark Cynder if she is already black?

....Clearly they would just make Albino Cynder...

Wait as second, wasn't this discussion about 'Dark Spyro' in Skylanders hypothetical? I've never heard anything about him actually being in the game...

You get a Dark Spyro figurine exclusively when you buy the 3DS version. However, it can be used with any version of the game.

not really, he's darker purple and his pupils are so pale. that you can barley see them

In DOTD she is dark purple, that's probably so you can notice it when she changes, into a GOONRO!

It is almost as if Spyro and Cynder switched places. Spyro became black and Cynder became purple. And maybe Malefor's darkness was meant to corrupt Cynder in TEN?
