Looks like Spyro and Gill Grunt have piloted a few air ships and are battled against one another, or battling against enemies together.

They were right about the graphics being like super mario galaxy. Gill grunt looks funny when he's pushing the turtle. smilie

My guess is that the second image is a minigame, the toys r us website mentioned that the game will feature minigames.

now the first pic is a good representation of how I'd like to play the game! (I mean the perspective) it'd look alot better that way D:
anyway nice pics :3 tho I'd like to see more gameplay footage xP

^This. Some of the enviroments look gorgeous! Not so keen on the castle levels, but, hey, it is primarily aimed at boys, afterall.

E3 should give us more 3DS footage, hopefully.

It's not aimed for boys, Skylanders is aimed for children.

It's not aimed for boys, Skylanders is aimed for children.


I'd say that it has a similar target audience as the likes of Digimon; primarily targeted at young boys, but with female characters thrown in to draw in some young girls.

What other perspective do you mean? I'd say if the screenshot looks like that, then that will be the perspective, at least in that part. smilie

I'm hoping there's a way to alter the camera so it's fixed behaind your character. What can I say? I'm not a huge fan of the pulled back perspective, never have been.

That poor turtle getting hit in the back to budge ouch.
Feel sorry for them being pushed around just for a pathway just like the box turtles in GTG but if it helps complete the game that is all that matters in the end ^__^.Screenshots look lush.
Likes the giant spike on Spyro's tail looks epic.

I think the screenshots posted here ARE the PS3 and 360 screenshots.


There's not really any way of telling. These graphics could get away with a Wii game developed by Nintendo (so a good job on Toys For Bob in that sence) but they could also get away with being PS3 and 360 graphics. Maybe, unlike DOTD, the games will have the same graphics except the PS3 and 360 will be in 1080p.

I think that the graphics look very good in these screenshots. Maybe DOTD looks slightly more colourful in the Valley of Avalar but then again the colours were too bright and overdone compared to this.
