I know, oh well ... I was considering mentioning how Microsoft's press conference (and maybe Nintendo's too?) is on the 6th but I thought not... I have been considering over the last few days that if Activision want Skylanders to be mentioned in one of the 4 big press conferences then it'll be Nintendo's considering the heavy link between Skylanders and the Wii at the moment.

I don't really care for Microsoft's conference, especially after last year.

Surprisingly, I'll be paying most attention to Sony, hoping that they come out with a PS4. I missed out on the PS3, and as much as I wish to get it, I decided to just wait for the next system, seeing how Nintendo announced its new system and that the other two companies shouldn't be far behind.

Microsoft will be announcing there new console (EA had a prototype of it a few weeks back) so I think we might see something from Sony this year too. If they do, that'll be good because then the price of the PS3 will drop dramatically the same way the original 360 did when the slim was released.

^I wouldn't really care for the PS3 price drop. I would just wait and get Sony's next system. As for Microsoft, I'll be avoiding them like the plague. I don't want to pay for online anymore, and I have a feeling the new system will have some sort of hardware failure.

I wouldn't count on a PS4 appearing. We might get another upgrade to the PS3 though.

You also have to take note on how Sony is coming out with the NGP this year to rival the 3DS. You think they would try to do the same against Project Cafe.

Did you not hear the PS4 was announced to be in development? This might mean it's released in 2 or 3 years but it's gonna happen sooner than everyone thought.

Do we NEED a new console already? As TheWereCat already said the PS3 is already really advanced. Short of making a console that shows the game the way things appear in the holodex from Star Trek, I personally don't see what else they can do that would be a worthwhile change.

Yeah, the PS3 still deserves a couple more years...I mean, LBP2 has not even been out a year!

The PS3 deserves at least another five to eight years if you ask for my opinion. I thought that it would cost Sony even more money to design a new console and get it released. They'll probably ask for too much money like before. I think they should release the PS4 by 2016 or maybe 2018.

So could there be a skylanders port to project cafe and the next microsoft console?

But I hate Blu-Ray. It can't decide whether it wants to play itself or not.

And devs get over four times the amount of memory(or whatever) to cram it into a disc... and they use it to add some VERY small visual effects! *hmph* Typical!

But anyway... Back on topic.

All of the toys have been confirmed to be TRU exclusive, except the ones that are coming in with the game packs.

I assume internet stores will sell the toys too. I think Toys R Us will be the retail exclusive. I mean, you can't go to a physical Amazon shop somewhere and buy the toys. Plus, everything ends up on amazon one way or another. Also, Toys R Us do delivery, so you won't have the embarrassment of going to a store to buy the toys.

The 3DS version would completely different compared to the console version..Like Sonic Generations 3DS.

Because I'm guessing Activision have a deal with Nintendo. The 3DS is a new console, so if Activision can shift as many copies of this innovative game on the 3DS then nintendo will be able to shift more consoles and thus get more money. No doubt a few months after release, Activision will release Dark Spyro a normal buyable character. Activision have a tendency to not keep exclusive content exclusive for very long, they're showing this by making it compatible with other versions. If they wanted to truly make it an exclusive forever they would make it only compatible with the 3DS.

Hey, I noticed that the green troll on the Toys R Us page is different than his design on the TRU product picture. They changed his design to a maniacal character like Trigger Happy. :3

They said b4 how they werent sure about whether or not they would do fine tooning to the character models. But heres the true question, will it be weird to buy some of the toys (if you choose to of course) from TRU if you like 17+

You can order them online... Plus, they have no reason to judge. You could be buying them as a gift.
