Work in progress gameplay you mean. They change during development.

Looking at the gameplay doesn't give you the right to say if it's good or not. You still didn't play it.

The way Spyro looks doesn't make a Spyro game automatically good for everybody.

Take Burnout Paradise for example. They have DLC called Big Surf Island. It's a brand new area with new cars, challenges, and everything. You have to pay to get into the area. Am I whining about it? No. So why would you whine about getting toys for exclusive areas when it's exactly the same thing as DLC?

You don't have to buy the other toys. You can just get the Starter Pack with the Portal of Power and a few characters, and you're through.

Yeah when I was younger this wouldve been cool, but not now. It aint worth 75bucks not for this game. I think for a two year development, there is alot to be desired for that time period. We'll see from reviews and you guys on what to think of this game.

Look up DLC.
Dead Space - You can buy DLC Suits after buying the game.
Bioshock - You can buy DLC Minigames (Minerva's Den) to extend the game.
The Force Unleashed - You can buy an Alternate "Evil" Expansion DLC.

Your reason is basically arguing against expanding Content.

I know what DLC is, but Activision are not expanding the game, at least not until 2012. You cannot play this game at all without buying extra plastic (I know the Starter Pack comes with toys, but you still pay more than a regular game). It was totally unecessary, as it makes no difference to the actual game. It's only purpose is to make the game more expensive. The only people who get any benefit from the toys are people who like to collect toys of generic characters.

What is wrong with you people? Why are you getting defensive every time someone says they don't like what you like? I mean really, why are you trying to prove that they're wrong for saying they dislike the game? So it's not out yet and they already have an opinion, so what? I don't see you guys saying stuff like that to the people who are fangirl/boy-ing over the game already.

As for my opinion, I'm in the middle. Not fail, not win, though it may change when I play it. So far it looks fun; it's a light and ahppy looking platformer, the way I say Spyro should be. But on the other hand I do see it getting expensive. Speaking of expensive, do you think anyone will rip the data from the toys and make a torrent of it for the PC version? Assuming the toys even contain the data for the character that is, rather than having some other non-stealable way of recognizing what character you're using.

Financially, I think this'll be at the top of kid's Christmas lists. Though, what with the new Ninty console coming out next year or so, I'm sure that will affect the sales of the Wii version- especially since most of the target audience would be buying it over the others.

I somehow doubt the reviews will be quite as good, though I can imagine them saying that it 'breathes life into the franchise' or something similar.

Not necessarilly. In things like this, everyone is expected to give some sort of reason or explination as to why they're thoughts are what they are. I'm always expected to do it. What makes them so special that they don't have to?

Rumors are that at E3 there will be a demo of the next gen Xbox360 at EA's booth, plus nintendo is gonna unleash their new console soon, which was far over due. I doubt this game will sell much when it comes out, maybe for christmas but not automatcially. But i'm just guessing here. I really wish this game was a spinoff lol.

I know about Nintendo's new system, but nothing about Microsoft.

And that's like saying how Gears of War 3 will sell badly. And Uncharted 3. And Zelda: Skyward Sword. All of these big releases that will be coming out in the later months. They will still sell very well, since these new systems most likely won't be coming out until next year, after these games come out.

I don't think Spyro will get his design changed, maybe they will up the graphics a bit, because it needs it, right now, it doesn't look like the best graphics out there to me.

It could go either way...

In my eyes, my first impressions are its gonna be a game aimed at a younger age group as opposed to the slightly older target market of the legend trilogy.

I think it'll be a big hit with children however, I think the older Spyro fans may find it a let down.

Children have very usually liked the "Toys coming to life" things so maybe this will be good for kids, but personally, I am not interested on this game at all. Good or bad, whatever critics are going to say when it comes, I'm still not going to buy it.

It depends on the advertising. At the moment, it doesn't seem that many kids (the target audience) even know it exists. If the word gets out, I could see this being a huge success (points to Webkinz). Since it is being released for virtually all current gen consoles it could definitely succeed. I don't see the 70 dollar price being too restrictive since most 360/PS3 titles are $60 anyway.

You know what I changed my mind im actually starting to like it
