^I agree with the 1000th post. SF and Sonic wouldn't do well on an iPhone or Android. Sonic 4 is a good example. I didn't like it on there.

It won't. But it might end up on the NGP. Maybe they'll make a late release of Skylanders for it if the NGP has the technology to handle it (highly doubt it though).

It is ported to PSP. You can buy them off of PSN for $6 USD each. But not right now, due to all the problems PSN is having.

EDIT: Note that it's only in North America.

My brother thought they worked well on iPhone. What I was saying was, if Sonic and Sf can work on iPhone, so can Spyro.

The one problem I could find with Spyro on iPhone is the control scheme. You can't really put all of those buttons on the screen without blocking the action.

You shouldn't need all the buttons. They could simplify it, and give it a unique gimmick to make up for it.

Obviously you don't need all of them. But at the same time, you need too many of them to put on one screen.

Well, I flying Spyro game could work...

...But even so, you only need charge, flame, move and jump...that's not too much...

Again, putting the buttons on the screen would block the action. And it's not like you can make them smaller, since then it'd be hard to press them.

NGP is the official name (or code name?) for the PSP2.

I'm definitely considering gettign this for PC. The reason being that it is ten dollors cheaper new than the Wii, PS3 and XBox versions, the potential for downloadable addons and other hacks, and the fact that the price is likely to come down faster on a PC game. Then again that may not matter if I choose to buy it right away, and the decline of price depends heavily on sales. If it's as popular as they hope, it'll decline more slowly, but if it fails it'll be real cheap real quick.
Say, I hope the toys are compatible with all consoles and PC without and specifications...

That is one of the reasons why I wouldn't buy a game for my PC, I know that mine can't take a thing, I tried playing Doom 3 on it, and it just lags so much.

I think it is way too expensive to be a PC gamer, and I wouldn't find it comfortable on the PC, I'd rather sit on the sofa and relax with an easy to use controller. Not too bothered about updating the graphics, and stuff like that.

It's actually cheaper to some extent, since the games are cheaper, you don't have to pay for online (unlike a certain other online gaming experience ), and Steam has a ton of sales of games. I would love to be a PC gamer if it wasn't for how slow my computer is.

And from what I know of, it's possible to use a PS3 or Xbox controller on your PC as long as you have the proper cables. And even then, there does exist controllers made exclusively for PC gaming.

I never play games online, never heard of Steam, I prefer playing on a TV. Well not literally, I don't want to break it.

It's not expensive at all if you know where to buy. GO TO INFONEC! Search google! Buy online for good prices and good selection! You can buy indevidual parts and make your own for a good price (mine was 300 dollars new, and it's still and epic comp.) or get a good deal on one prebuilt.

And you need to know that you DON'T need the biggest baddest comp on the market, and you DON'T need to upgrade frequently to play newest games.
Whatever you do though, DON'T take it to someone to get your PC built, do it yourself (it's not that hard, not as hard as you'd think at all) and you'll save bundle. Seriously guys, take my advice.

Most games take the quality of the comp into account and allow the engine to run differently for the highest quality of play the system can handle. That being said, the game will run, but may not be "playable".
Another thing for comps is the almost infinite control over a game that other systems can and do lack.

What do you mean by control?

The keypad configuration, the resolution and graphical adjustments, the modding, etc...

If I were to become a PC gamer, I'd still hate it, no matter how many of these good suggestions that anyone throws at me, it just doesn't beat a good old fashioned console for me, it's too much to worry about.

^it's not, I just said it's not too much money, and protection isn't hard, you just need one program to install one time, and upgrades aren't trouble anyway because game makers take into account the less capable comp and make the game adjustable so that it works on Lower end PCs as well as high end ones. Pretty much any comp you buy now could play practically any game you want it to for many years to come.

Another cool thing about PCs is emulators and roms, so you can still play alot of games for alot of consoles, but better becasue it's FREE!

But it's better if you hack your console!

No it is better if you can run at a min fps of 150, max at 500. (Yes I have a good system)
I mean by control, if you want something, you can ask someone other than the developer to do it because there might be more than one person who wants it. Minecraft and Gmod are 2 examples.

It was hacked and said hackers could get personal information about users, so Sony shut down PSN until the problem is fixed.
