4/17/11 update!

• MARKETING AND RELEASE: Added an in-depth look of the plannings of launching the upcoming game in Australia, Crystal Palace Luna Park, Sydney. It's like the coverage for the Activision Booth for the "Development" section.
  
• REFERENCES: Added one video link (Matt Chat).

There may be lack of actual game info, but the first entry makes up for it, and gives you something to think about - especially if you're living in Australia, Sydney!

For those who are concerned on how I operate the topic, I always update at Sunday afternoon, I repeat - Sunday afternoon, every 2-4 weeks depending on the recent content of the upcoming game. It wasn't updated for about 3 or 4 weeks because of the lack of info until the Australia launch thing popped up. Hope this clears up!

I would actually go to Australia for that if I had the money.

I'm surprised that no one got the potato joke in reference to the cake. CAV, at least, should have gotten it. It's not even that obscure just now.

Also, being somewhat on-topic, here's part 2 of the Matt Chat. Don't know if they're going to talk about Skylanders at all, but they will be talking about how Toys for Bob came to be.

If it's from Portal 1, it's been a while, so I wouldn't of remembered...
...if it's from Portal 2, I have not been looking at anything about that as I do not want anything spoilt.

And I want to see more good info on this game. I want to be able to like a brand new Spyro game.

It's not a spoiler to mention the Potato Fools ARG for Portal 2, since that doesn't have anything to do with the game proper (as far as we know right now).

I'm sure we'll get more info in the months to come. Probably something at E3 and at other things over the summer.

No, you don't understand. I don't want to know ANYTHING about it (past the early gameplay reveals). I want to be able to laugh at all the jokes while I play it!

He doesn't care for Skylanders anymore. He's much more interested in Sonic Generations.

I wasn't very interested to begin with anyway. The gameplay looks generic and boring to me. When I seen the trailer, I didn't feel anything.

I don't judge the game either. But I'm more intersted in it than Sonic Generations, and I trust TFB more than Sonic Team since they didn't **** up so many times.

I always make fun of the Irish, and I'm fully Irish. The thing is, because I actually am Irish, I can make fun of a lot more than just the dated leprachaun stereotype!

It just doesn't look like they are even trying to impress. Well, they are trying to impress with everything....except gameplay.

Generally I'm looking foward to SSA more than S:G, but I just love how both of them look.

Tbh, I'm excited for both Sonic Generations and Skylanders. Both of them look fun.

Pitiful. Hopefully that will change as things go along - maybe it'll come through the App Store and you'll have to get the Portal and Toy(s) some other way? Awkward, but if I'm to play it something had better be done for Macs.

you can always run windows in a virtual PC thing. (Forgot the name.) That worked well enough for me in many things.

I can't WAIT for this game ;w; Spyro is so cute, the gryphon looks amazing and the feathered bird/dragon too! The graphics is amazing too! And the whole idea is just awesome! QwQ Can't wait!

I was hoping the website would get as much attention as Sonic 4's website. But it doesn't seem that way. Makes me fear for the attention the game may get.

Maybe there isn't enough info for the game that is worth updating the site for. Maybe they're waiting for some more info, or some more gameplay footage before updating.

They could at least put up the character bios. They have the pictures there, but they don't do anything when you click them, even though they "pop out".

Yeah, and not many people visit Spyro fan sites. They'd be better off updating the site. And if the site has no info, why was it made? They could just put the trailer on YouTube.....kinda like it always has been.....

From the Matt 95 video i saw I learned a few new things:

-apparently, they plan on having the toys serve a long term purpose.
-You will go to the hospital if you bite Spyro's head off.
-They want to compete heavily with Hasbro.
