I expect it to be better than LoS, but, then, even when I liked LoS I expected a brick to be better than it, so that's not really a mark of high praise coming from me. It so far looks like it's going to be interesting at the least and I like what I've seen of the gameplay. Unlike the past several Spyro games we've had, it kind of looks fun to play in and of itself, which is nice.
Yeah, Skylanders isn't going to be GotY with Portal 2 hanging around, but no Spyro game has ever pulled that off so it's no loss. I am pleased to see how much effort Activision is putting into the project, though, and the big wave of interest in it outside of this fandom.
I just can't shake this nagging feeling that this might be all just hot air . It is indeed impressive that they are doing a lot of "grandstanding" in this endeavor, however if the game can't deliver or out rank all this stuff. . . ugh, just - ugh.
Hmm. . . I wonder if they'll announce a lower price on this game? That $70 price tag is still getting to me. But whatever, as it stands, all this pessimistic hoo-haw is just water under the bridge.
