That's what I do. Using comment approval, I can ignore the negative comments and they won't appear on the video comments.

CAV, if it were an original production, then it would make you appear butthurt.

But Aura generally just uploads formal videos, providing info(LPs count in this regard).
It's fine if the video isn't really your original creation anyway.

It's a playthrough. That somewhat counts as original, especially if she comments on the game while she plays. That's how I see it.

It's a playthrough. That somewhat counts as original, especially if she comments on the game while she plays. That's how I see it.

I still don't see the problem. Most people who go onto a comment approval video and bug the creator are probably butthurt themselves.

I don't know. There are a lot of people out there that use comment approval, or disable them altogether. Irate Gamer, LifeInATent, KingMasterReview. Just think about them, and you see why there's a problem to putting filters on your comments.

That's just how I see things. I would never disable or filter comments.

I would never use them either, but it's not because I'm afraid of being seen as butthurt. I just don't see a reason why I would need to. I mostly get positive comments. And I once got a pervy comment, and it amused me!

All I get (when I get them) is positive comments...course, my vids compose the Dragon's Lair 3D: Return to the Lair soundtrack.

For me, it's because I fear being like the users I just listed. They are afraid of negative comments, and cannot tolerate them. They end up looking bad. I don't want that happening to me.

I'm not going to have those comments again, when I decide to do a playthrough of the game...

There's been haters since AHT or so... They just need to stop. No-one cares about their opinion.

Not exactly. Comment approval gives me the ability to ignore or allow comments to appear on the videos when they post them without having to reply to the commenter.

I still agree with Aura on this one.

I think its a good idea to use comment approval. I wasn't offended, besides, if the comment isn't bad, it'll get approved anyway.

And with the current condition of the Spyro fanbase, I will have no choice. It's not like I'll actually talk to the haters on youtube when they post their negative comment on the Skylanders walkthrough. I'll just ignore their comments quietly, and the comments won't appear on the videos without the commenter realizing it until they noticed.

I think if you don't like Skylanders, I think that maybe you should post an opinion but say why you don't like it, and also add in a few things on what you like about it, surely there must be some small things you like about it, and in that way it makes the comment more fair.

LIAT sure is. But the worst part is dispite getting defeated by BlackBusterCritic on Ustream, he still made a video saying he won, then put comment approval on it, so people that were watching on Ustream (which was about 900 people) won't comment saying he's lying.

And KingMasterReview was a Sonic fanboy that once made a video pretending to have sex with Silver the Hedgehog. He's a Sonic fanboy, and since he couldn't handle the comments he was getting, he would either put comment approval, or disable them altogether.
