Can someone summarize the last 150 posts? Please? It will help us all.

Creating the characters is not a problem, it is putting them into the name that is the time consuming part
Really why does it matter what they do with the game now? We know what it is, we can follow it, but we cannot do anything about it. So why pretend like we can? Human nature.

Michael Graham is revealed to be currently in charge of the Spyro series, since his recent works on the LoS trilogy. The concept art of a dragon, is revealed to have been the early character design for Spyro in Skylanders. You need certain elements to access special parts of the game.

Some desperate Spyro fans who think Spyro "died" after 2000, and think he's "ruined" are the ones who are trying to make changes that are futile.

Hey, now, it's not just classic fans claiming Spyro's dead now. A bunch of LoS and general fans are screaming that he died in 2008, too (and one guy who thinks Spyro didn't exist before ANB, apparently smilie).

Y'know, that concept art kind of hints further that Skylanders may not have been a Spyro-related game early on. Or it's just a really unique take on him. Oiy, why did I say that? I smell "controversy" brewing now that I've brought this up. smilie

Neither one. That's part of the definition of insanity from one of the DSM manuals (though it is often paraphrased and misquoted, as seen above), I do believe. The posts you are citing are not accurate examples of the condition in any way save by being easily confused as such by a layperson with no medical knowledge.

Do you think that people will figure out how to change all the variables set on the figures? Making impossibly high levels in the first few days of it being out? Or making a character a different character?

Every time you view a page with an add, whoever owns the page gets a couple of cent from whoever paid to put the add there. It add up over the month and pays for the page and puts money in the owners pocket. That is why so many people are partners on youtube. (there are adds on their vids and/or next to them)

The more views = more money. It all makes sense in the weird, distorted mind of massive business owners.

It hurts less if you think of it as every time you see it, money is made somewhere, even if you don't see it at all or ignore it.

We do it with screen reading programs (JAWS, WindowEyes, etc.) or very large fonts. As for games, I play sitting close to the tv, but I once knew a guy who just memorized the levels (he mostly just played NES and SNES Mario games); it was cool to watch him.

@XSparxX - #546: An old concept art of Spyro? That sounds very interesting, something in development during 2 years it must have it's wonders of tweaks and changes. I must really determine if this is official by providing me a scan of the page covering the game when it was first revealed. The primary reason that I have a References section is so that I can provide the sources where it has the info so I can post the verified info in the first 3 or 4 posts in this topic.

@Aura24 - #520: You made a pretty interesting connection there; I'm not sure right now though...I'll probably wait it out to see what will happen. ...His company merged with Activision...? Étranges Libellules...Krome Studios?

^Wikipedia is a good site for information, however it can be edited very easily, and when a game like this is in early development, it's pretty easy to make up false information. We need a confirmation from Activision or Toys For Bob before adding that.

that site has a virus or something on it. It said that there was something on my laptop when I first got on it, and it asked me to make sure that I wanted to leave the site because my laptop would crash.

Yeah it's a fansite for Skylanders created by someone in gaming site, don't know which one, IGN or GameSpot... I went on that site many times, I never got a virus nor a warning off of there.

Maybe you should look at what an official source, like producer of Skylanders, has said on the game's release rather than Wikipedia. It's going to be a Wii exclusive...

I think that if this game was only avaliable for the Wii, I think it might annoy a lot of fans who like this direction that Activision is taking if they did not own a Wii.
