But yeah, I was a huge fan of Cynder, so I also wanted to see what would happen post-DotD.
In fact, she is my favourite fictional character. I felt a somewhat of a special connection to her...
....but I disgress.

She was one of my favorite LoS characters, I liked her and Spyro the best. And, I'm not starting something, but I think that as an item they were oddly compatible.

I really hope Acti brings her back in some future game.

I find it odd that they wouldn't include her in this, as she would be easy to program, like Spyro, as they already have a move set for her. And they could base her off the DotD design, and she would be a taller character.

I dunno. Wait and see. Maybe they might as her as a last addition? I highly doubt it but its possible. Lord knows it's happened before.

However, I agree with her in the sense that the complaining about haters is getting kind of pointless. Most of the time, people end up repeating themselves. It's why Darby doesn't post much anymore. I prefer to just talk about the game. I see people post hate art and stupid comments on Cynder, Sonic, and things I like in general, but I leave them be unless it's directed at me in some form.

^I'm not complaining about them in that topic. I'm responding to the person, and giving valid points. Meanwhile with his last comment, the person doesn't want to give a valid argument. That tells me:

1. He didn't notice the entire post.
2. He can't think of anything to defend himself with.

I know you weren't, but I think BH_W was speaking about people in general complaining about the haters.

Ah, but like I said, she didn't mention it at all until the topic was made. When I made the topic. Something tells me she wouldn't have said a thing if someone else made it.

No, I DO like the topic. The responses are hilarious.

What I'm talking about is that in other topics, people feel compelled to start discussing the haters for no reason. You're topic is dedicated to it, which is fine, but there are times where everyone starts complaining about haters out of the blue, and it makes the topics awfully boring. At least in your one it's just about taking the mick out of specific whiners, but in other topics, it usually goes like this:

User 1: "All these Skylanders haters are being so stupid."
User 2: "I know, they're not even giving the game a chance."
User 1: "I know, it's not out yet."
User 2: "They shouldn't be judging it just because of the design."
Me: "I agree with you, but is there really a need to discuss this here? This topic is for people who are fans of the game to express their love for it."

The amount of times I have seen a conversation like that happen is silly. People keep saying stuff like that in topics not really meant for it. They're off-topic in a way.

If anything, your topic might bring all that waffle to one place.

I will be disappointed if there is not a female dragon at all in the game. Cynder would be alright, always nice to see a familiar face. But I always felt like they were a bit lacking in the female department with Spyro.

Heh, I used to hear that from LoS fans a lot. Just because you don't like one or two versions of Spyro doesn't mean you aren't a fan.

That's one thing I miss about the Insomniac games. They were really balanced in terms of genders (right down to having a female villain, even) at a time when that was very rare. I know there are at least two girls in Skylanders for certain (Girl Raziel...I mean Stealth Elf and the orange version of her that is probably a different race), but I'm a bit disappointed that the only girls we know of for sure are typical female warrior types. If Trigger Happy was a girl or something like that I'd feel better.

Lol, female Trigger Happy conjures up a weird image. And yeah i'm not too hot on the stealth elf, would have preferred a faun.

Fauns deserve more love, and not just because Elora was one. They're good creatures for mythical stories and you really don't get to see them that often. Elves, on the other hand... Ugh. I've been sick of elves since the 90s.

A sphinx character would have been cool, too, instead of all these generic monster dudes.

My dislike of elves probably comes from the fact that my cousin made me roleplay with her as Legolas. *shudder*

32 characters is quite a few, we may yet see a worthy heroine.

I liked cynder, too. But they're trying to make this a NEW franchise/series of spyro. I doubt it'd be smart to add any of the original characters or LOS characters in a new game series. Kinda ruin their plans, eh?

^Exactly. And adding Cynder in it will raise several questions and would break continuity, and several people would ask "If Cynder was able to be in this game, why couldn't Ripto!? Or Hunter? Or Byrd? Or Elora?"

There would be mass chaos that is even worse than what we have now.

I think the reason behind no Cynder is that Cynder would have to follow rules to be Cynder. If they make a new character, they don't have to follow any rules, it is a blank slate.

By rules I mean background, appearance, sound, personality, element(s), and possibly others that I may have overlooked.
