No, look for Ookami on PS2. The Wii version chopped out the credits and the final scene after them and couldn't be bothered to get real box art (you can see the IGN logo from the shoddy .jpg they stole for the cover).

The Wii version has a better graphics, you can skip cutscenes or the scene when you feed animals and other better features :3.
The japanese Wii version has the credits. And you see not the IGN logo on the german cover. I can take a photo for you :3

You can skip cutscenes in the PS2 version too, and no the Wii version doesn't have the credits since they didn't have enough memory to add it in.

Yep, Aura's got it right on both counts (well, I heard the reason they don't have the credits is because Clover Studios has its logo at the end and nobody thought to just call them to get the rights to show that image). As for the graphics, they might be better but the controls have been reported to be much worse than the PS2 version (and I could care less about graphics; HD looks worse to me than regular images, etc.).

Anyway, why are we cluttering up the info and news post with pointless talk about the PS2 (a system that's been done with for about a year now) and a Nintendo game? This is the Skylanders board!

February 18, 2011 update!
  • GAMEPLAY: Minor detail - Camera stuff, top-down view during gameplay.
  • GAMEPLAY: Added list of confirmed level/realm names - four of em! Only one unnamed.
  • PLAYABLE CHARACTERS: Changed name of the section from "TOY STATS" - better name.
  • PLAYABLE CHARACTERS: Added new characters, with 13 characters are seen, yet 5 of them still have their full info revealed.
  • FAQ: Rearranged all the questions, with the most important at the top.
  • FAQ: Added this - "How tall are the figurines?"
  • REFERENCES: Added notable sources, such as "YouTube video: Time to Play preview of the game"
  • REFERENCES: Added time length for all links containing a video

Check the first three posts I made in order to see the updates. There might be more things to add as time passes by, as early as Saturday or late Friday. If I miss anything good, let me know!

The Wii version of Okami doesn't have better graphics, they just removed the Japanese scroll filter which, although it gives the game slightly more colour, makes it seem less like an ancient painting. But anway, Razz is right, enough about that...

I can't wait for more info on the characters; they're probably what I'm looking forward to, most!

I know this was always shown at the screenshots and trailer...but imo it'd be so much better if you atleast had the option for the camera to be third person view smilie

Uhm lol no thats wrong xDD. The Japanese Wii Version have the credits and on a Wii DVD is enough memory. Believe what you want. I do not care lol.

^ Wow, Capcom made a big mistake there- first lying that the credits couldn't be put in the Wii version, despite them being in the Japanese version, and next that the skipping cutscene feature was exclusive to the Wii version... You can skip them in the PS2 one.

New characters update!

Prism Break is the name of the crystal monster, and Stump Smash is the name of the tree-like character with the element of Earth. Stealth Elf is confirmed under the element of Life.

So here's a reply I got after emailing Activision. I don't even know who this guy is, but he replied to my message and he seems really friendly. I think it's very nice that he replied. smilie

He didn't give out any information, but from his message, I can tell that no matter how much we badger them, they can only release information as planned, when planned.
