Emulator...I think it's on Xbox Live though....I want to get the remake, despite how people don't like it....I like Conker's new design in it, and the graphics look cool. I'm also interested in the SHC sidestory.

I like all games equally; classics, which were some of my first games, LoS, which got me interested in Spyro again and now SSA looks like Spyro's saviour. I think a good majority of the remaining fans on the site would agree with me- most one-sided fans were fed up and left when SSA was announced.

They're probably irritated that SSA wasn't an all-out LoS or classic game, picky people.

SSA looks underwhelming so far, but I will try to give it a chance...

I'm just thinking of the gameplay. Most people are making a kerfuffle over his design and the toys, but I'm just disappointed by the looks of the gameplay.

And SSA seems decent enough- it looks like ActiVision finally put some effort into a single game, besides COD.

Meh, I don't think there is much effort on the gameplay front....everything else, yes, but not gameplay.

Aw, really? What OS do you have? Vista was a pain to get anything installed on, but Project 64 was always good.

And I'm actually liking what I see from gameplay. It just looks like a classic game from the trailer, which is why I don't get why so many people don't like it.

Project 64 works like magic....

I don't think it looks at all like the Classics. Just like a cheap version of other great games, with toys to make it expensive...

Cheap version or not, it still looks nice and simple and not overdone, which is how I felt DotD was. It still looks fun to me, and I can't wait to play it!
And adding toys is a marketing scheme, but.... I like it.

Meh, I have a Vista laptop, and it's steadily spluttering and dying- the keys are falling off and we had to buy a fan to plug into the USB port to cool it down :/ It's a Toshiba one, and apparantly they're commonly problematic- whether that would effect the emulators, I have no idea, but Project 64 refused to run, even after I messed about with it for hours, and ePSXe ran, but the games themselves wouldn't run. Probabley my fault, though.

And I don't see the fuss over the gameplay; it looks awesome to me, what with the SM Galaxy style worlds, the classic elements (sheep and turtles, for the win!) and the gorgeous enviroments and awesome abilities. Plus, Spyro's abilities seem to be a cross between classic and LoS, which sure is great!

I liked DotD for beeing simple....(not as simple as this though)...

And the toys seemed like a great idea, but they mean nothing to me if the gameplay isn't great.

Eh, still looks great to me. After all, that was only one trailer, to give you a 'feel' of the game so far. I haven't been this excited for a Spyro game in a long time!

The only thing you mentioned that had to do with major gameplay... :3

I actually think the abilities look pretty underwhelming, especially Spyro's. It looks about as good as ANB...

The trailer has enough to let me know what the game will play like, and it just borrows from a lot of games, and doesn't do the features as well.

And yes, I did compare it to Shrek the Third: The Game....that game instantly popped in my head when I seen the Skylanders trailer....

Emulators don't like me :/ I spent ages finding plug-ins and all, but those damn ROMS... D: And all just to play Digimon World!!

But, hey! Spyro can fly like in DotD, yet he can glide and charge like in the classics- what's not to love!?

I don't think the flying is like DotD. The levels look extremely linear. And he could glide in pretty much every game.
Also, the levels look like they will have a lot of fighting(remember the focus on stat upgrades), but it looks like it will be too easy...

And I couldn't careless about charging, as there are other games that give me a more favourable charge!
