I think like Halo, *cough future of the shooter cough*. this game will serve a purpose to the future of children's toys.

If the game works as well as everyone wants it to, then yes it can.

But if the game falls flat, it will end up having been a gimmick. That is, until Activision decides to fix it.

I dont really see it, the figures are models instead of action figures etc, not as much fun to play with. At least from what I remember as a kid. My toys that were stuck on a platform were always the infirm members of the group that had to stay at home.

Viva Pinata tried something similar, burger king toys, sticker books, even a tv show, but it didn't work. (And the concept was really good)

Hm it would hurt sales, wouldn't it? There is no TRU in reasonable driving distance where I live, so I for one couldn't get it. Unless I used a pre-paid credit card. Hmm....

I really hope it isn't a TRU exclusive, TEU in the UK are a bit lacking in variety compared to in the US.

It would suck if it's TRU exclusive. Sure, there are several around me, but I don't want to walk in and buy a toy. Not at age 14, and especially when people say I look 17 because of my height.

Heck, I'm 14 in a week or so and I'll be almost 15 by the time I want new characters for SKL, so how would I convince my parents to take me to TRU (which, I add, takes an hour to get to from where I am) let alone buy me a young boy's toy?!

Answer: no. I'm praying Game will sell them, then I could quickly buy an SKL toy when no-one's looking...
