Personally, I think SK is the best name. Apart from being the shortest and easiest to remember, it could also link to a lot of fitting story oppurtunities.

I know what you mean- and it's not as if the audience for it has changed much, either; one of the main selling points for the PS3 game-wise are it's platformers like LBP and (<3) Ratchet Clank.

I just got a reply from the author of the Destructoid article involving the Toy Fair invite; he deleted the article because Activision told him to.

How interesting, I doubt it'd be that secret for a mere toy licensed game.

I also tried looking at some trademark sites, no luck finding anything about the new Sky Landers title. Didn't see Spyro's Kingdom either IIRC. I probably didn't look in the right places, anyone experienced in trademark hunting want to give it a shot?

Sometimes I wonder how AV expects to make sales when all they do is promote one game for the entire year. I know CoD sells millions, but fans of the series would know about the game and it's release even if you didn't promote the game.

On another site, I listed SK as one of my most antisipated games of 2011. Not a single person knew that the game was being developed. Everyone thought that Spyro was dead and gone. It only proved my point.

Aura is probably the best hunter on here, she's the one that's found several other bits of detail...I'm wondering if she has friends (who are spies) in Acti.

^Exactly. They will only lose money by doing this. Making it public will get people hyped, and they'll want to buy the game.

The only game that AV is saying ANYTHING about is Modern Warfare 3, which isn't surprising in the slightest. Hell, AV might not even publish the game if they lose the case.

Call of Duty's creator is suing them, don't know why (and this isn't the copyright infringement case either).

Infinity Ward is suing because they didn't get paid for developing MW2.

They also believe that the rights of the franchise belongs to them, since they made it popular. I'm not sure if they're suing for the rights of Modern Warfare, or the entire CoD franchise.

I don't know. Any gaming company investing everything they have in a single game franchise is not a good idea.

Besides, I though SK was supposed to be heavily advertised? Triple A title or whatever.

I hope Infinity Ward wins the case.

They barely advertise Guitar Hero. It wasn't until 2 weeks after it came out did I find out that Warriors of Rock was out.
