Here's a neat idea I had. It could be in a Spyro game, or just be about random dragons.
Basically the game plays like a documentary. By that I mean that once you build your dragon character you hatch and from there live your dragon life doing the usual things a dragon would do. (Or rather whatthe writers imagine a dragon would do). You would do things like learn to hunt, fly, and fight, and when you mature you can either go off on your own and face the challenges a solitary dragon would face, or you can stay with the herd (or whatever) and fight for your place in the herd as the alpha male or female. If you are a lone dragon you could fight for your own territory and conquer large portions of land or live in peace with the existing life. Maybe forge a relationship with a human and have a dragon rider, fighting for the king, or you could terrorize villages and be a real monster! If you choose to lead your race, you could colonize the planet, moving all or part of your herd to new environments, and once in those places you could watch your species evolve to adapt with each generation as you conquer the land and aid your people. You would also have to help your tribe fend off attackers, either humans, other dragons or different creatures altogether. The game ends when you die, either you're slain by a knight, die in battle, from starvation or harsh conditions, or from old age.
What do you think? Also feel free to build on my idea.
That would be an awesome idea! I would have a blast playing that!
