I hope this isn't the announcement, because I don't want Spyro to be a kids game....

And before you say it, Spyro was never a kids game per se....it was a game SUITABLE for kids....there is a difference...

Sonic Colours nearly became a game aimed at kids....luckily, Sega seen that more hardcore Sonic fans were interested in Sonic Colours as opposed to Sonic 4.

Uh, yeah you do. Sorry, I've never used the skateborard or guitar, but I though that the guitar at least was popular and enjoyable. And the skateboard looked like fun from the commercial. So, what's the problem?

The things a piece of ****, it hardly reads half the time, and if your not positioned correctly, it doesn't work well, its like the balance board and kinect.

I actually think Kinect is very good. It just needs more hardcore games.....and Twisted Pixel are already on the job!

IDK if I said this before, but I'd like to see more fairytale elements in SK< as opposed to attempts at high fantasy. Seemed like that's what they were going for with LOS, given the huge battles and the whole legendary hero v. dark lord bit.

Lol, I saw Elijah Wood as a hooligan in a film, it was weird, he actually swears in it, and I just think of TLOS Spyro everytime I hear his voice and I end up laughing at it.

Well, the inclusion of fairies depends heavily on the target audience. Your not going to see a teen buying a game with fairies.

To respond to a comment above, yes, Kinect sucks. It's just a sad attempt to steal some sales from the Wii. Playstation Move is even more obvious, just look at the damn controller. But at least Move works to some extent.

Fairytale stuff.... I'm on the fence. If done right, it could be great, but they could also screw it up.

I don't think anybody likes Kinect. But yet Microsoft thinks it's ok to constantly shove it down our throats and make things exclusive to it. Sony didn't do that, and focused on their exclusives. I'm afraid to say the prime example since Brawler is here.

A good example of fairytale gone wrong is Secret Rings and Black Knight. Secret Rings played very well, but the story was crap.

Altogether though, basing your game's story off of a fairytale only means that you are lazy and you don't care about your game to even think up an actual story.

I don't think that's necessarily true. If they're super babyish fairies with the creepy cute smiles and annoyingly high pitched voices, then no they wouldn't. If they do something like give them a colorful and ornate yet tasteful design, and give them personalities like people rather than just silly littel critters nattering in your ear, then they could work fine.

I have kind of a neat idea about fairies, but I can't form a full, coherent thought today! XP

EDIT: M'kay, I sill can't describe as I would like to but I was thinking that they could make fairies look like a modern teen/young adult, as opposed to a small man in a Peter Pan like outfit, or a little girl dressed like Tinkerbell. When I thought of faries a teen might like I instantly thought of (caution randomness ahead) a skater boy but really small with dragonfly wings, and girl (looking a little like the girls from Zoe 101) with butterfly wings.
Ugh, sorry! I could make my idea clearer and describe it better but, as I said, mah bran won't cooperate!

Doesn't have to be is Spyro, could just be a funny idea to toss back and forth on the forums.

I thought I would hate Kinect, but then I played it, and thought the controls worked well. It has great potential, IMO.

I can't think of much...I've got tons of ideas both storywise and gameplay wise, but the effort of typing them doesn't justify the fact that hardly anyone will read it, or will even flame me for them...

But if you have anything in particular you want to discuss without getting flamed, you can PM people with similar opinions.

And on the topic of this game, and actual information, there's nothing else to discuss right now. Unless we somehow find another leak or a little information released, it'll stay that way for a while.

I have an EXTREMELY long winded idea for a TLoS RPG, but nobody even read the shortened version(or didn't say anything, at least)!

How about the classics, two player, and with flight?

Not sure about free flight in the Classics...maybe as a minigame....but co-op Classic game would be interesting.
