Day Stages - Amazing - I loved them!
Night Stages - I enjoyed them. At first. They got kinda repetitive to the point I just rushed through them.. But they were cool aft first!

The Wii version, but I know it wouldn't make much of a difference for my hate towards the night stages.

I will get the other version for the day stages some day... but it'll probably take me forever to get though it because the night stages are a horrible, horrible chore! D:

Buuut nope, no news other than the supposed release day, but that was found a few days ago.

Colours was originally targeted for a younger audience, but then Sega realised that Sonic fans were more excited for it than Sonic 4, so they made it more difficult and stuff!

Sonic Unleashed (360) Day Stages = Orgasmic....OK, I'm joking, but ya know what I mean!
Night Stages = Very fun and can be a challenge. Better than GoW but worse than DotD, IMO.

Wii version
Day Stages: Awesome
Night Stages: Mediocre, but get good in EggmanLand.

360 has Empire City
PS2 doesn't

About a prequel to STD, It might be cool to see the story of the Gnorcs and Gnasty unfold, with details of how the dragons fought them and drove them out and banished Gnasty. But above all we MUST learn who Spyro's parents are! I ca't believe a trilogy that claimed to be a sequel didn't cover that! DX

I was VERY doubtful, too. Then I saw gameplay and was blown away by how awesome it looked.

I saw gameplay and I figured that it looked nice (kinda like Black Knight), but it would play like crap (kinda like Black Knight).

Sonic 4 is pretty good on the iPod/iPhone, although I hate the fact Sega was trying to go back in time, back to the good ol' days. You shouldn't mess about with classics.

I thought Sonic 4 was awesome, but Colours was even more so...

So for those of you who were worried about ELB doing the next game. They aren't! At least, as far as I've been told by Yannick Corboz who works for ELB and did a lot of the Spyro concept art. I got in touch with him/her! (wow, I don't even know the gender..)

Yeah, same here. I always respect the people who take the time to do that. People from Activision however, never do so

Yup, it looks as if they're not returning for the next game. So with EL and Krome as non possibilities, I guess Spyro will have yet another appearance!

Well, at least we won't be seeing DotD Cynder anymore. EL was like advanced in their concept art and everything else, sad they weren't chosen for SK..

Me too. DotD Cynder probably won't see the light of day again (hooray), and hopefully we'll see little Cynder that resembles her TEN form in SK if she's in it.

I only have the PS2 of Sonic Unleashed, but I have played the 360 version and it's way better than the PS2 version.

Night Stages= Terrible. It was super hard to control Werehog Sonic, and he kept on falling off ledges. >:

Back on topic, I hope that Spyro's Kingdom will have free flight like DoTD.

Personally, I'm scared now. Who the company is, and how much they'll change character design. Because we all know that they'll make a design, and people are STILL going to complain about it.

^ If it's a radical change, then yeah I would. But if they were to do something simple like make her fatter or taller or something, there's truely no need to complain when it doesn't alter the gameplay.

As long as the character isn't ugly and doesn't attract foul attention an people it's all good. I just hope they fix the wings so they actually look like they can catch air! They either attatchem with a minimal amount of skin or did what they did with Cynder, which is not attatch at all except for the long skinny arm.

Nah, I'm not too worried yet. We could still get an amazing game that surprises us.

Hopefully Spyro has a good game up and coming.

You know what, while i realize its improbability i say we should be the next developers of spyro! I mean, who better than those who have played the games and adored them so, and i know it has been suggested before. But, however, perhaps make a site, slowly but surely produce concept art and drawings of level design. Even without the money for it, perhaps we could produce something that could somewhat shine a light on Spyro's Eternal Darkness...no pun intended.
