Ok now i'll say this as a rebuttle, has anyone played little big planet? its a plateformer made by sony and sells well, so with that not only can nintendo make good platforming games but sony can too, reason being is that if nintendo gets ahold of spyro & or crash then literally there's only 2 platformers that the other consoles have and they are both are on the PS3, exmaple little big planet and ratchet and clank. So if nintendo nabs spyro and crash then well the Xbox more so than the PS3 will have nothing, because man nintendo has mario, donkey kong, kirby, metroid, zelda, sonic (now) man i wonder what other titles they have now. Too many its like Ford taking the vette or vice versa. someone has to compete against nintendo and if done right spyro CAN compete against the big guns. If a good company that does the research of what spyro is about and trys their best to bring him up the nit will be sucessful, NFS series was dying badly but EA changed developers to the same people who did burnout and now the NFS series is back ontop and expected to do great. So its possible guys for spyro to do well on all platforms. sierra did a good thing on choosing EL to make a great looking game but..... did overlooked the actual gameplay so 1 step forward two steps back. I wish it wouldnt be a nintendo exclusive and hope its just a one year thing where they are just trying something new.

ANB is on the Xbox Originals section of the Xbox Live Marketplace(It's how I got the game recently!). It has been there for a few years, I think. However, TEN and DotD are not there, as far as I know. However, when I put in DotD on my 360, it says "Play Legend of Spyro" in the disc section of the menu. So maybe they are putting DotD in the "Games on Demand" section of the marketplace.

...Right, since I don't own a 360, I've no idea what you're talking about. Do you mean an online shop to buy old games, like the Playstation Store?
And to what S240sx24 (that's a mouthful!) said, that's the reason I own a PS3 and not an XBox 360; it has amazing old-school, yet futuristic platformers. 360 has shooters, shooters, shooters. OH! And they butchered Rareware. Seriously, Bill Gates, take one of the best developers (plus they're British!) and cancel all of their projects like Conker 2? I hate you, Microsoft. Yes, I'm saying that on a Microsoft computer. DERP.

If ELB does the game I want new models. The guradians had rounded paws, like they were balancing on balls set into thier feet and Iggy had that constant smile, even when he was DIEING for god's sake! And of course let's not forget the Cynder fiasco!
I'd like a different developer who can make the games look more cartoony and less super next-gen real like they tried to do.

So does the PS3, but you choose not to play them because I'm guessing you don't like shooters. Considering you don't own a 360, you probabaly don't pay any attention to the games that arn't shooters... Only the games that get the most hype like Halo, GOW and COD (which is multi-platform anyway). |

To be honest, I can't think of any critically acclaimed non-shooter 360 exclusives, and looking at the list of Xbox 360 exclusives on wikipedia, there aren't really any that do catch my attention. Nuts and Bolts interested me when it was first released, but I've heard from friends it doesn't do justice to the originals. Viva Pinata did, too, but it isn't a 360 exclusive anymore.

I like the DotD style, so I don't mind if they keep it. I like "semi-realism". However, I won't mind a change in art style(unless it's bad).
Most 360 exclusives are shooters....if you're talking disc-based games. But there are plenty of amazing digitaly distributed games on the Marketplace. But PS3 has LBP2, so....yeah....

LittleBigPlanet.
It's a game centered around building your own levels, and sharing them online. However, the sequel, LittleBigPlanet 2, was released yesterday in Europe. It let's you create whole games....yes, you read that correctly - WHOLE GAMES!

WHOLE GAMES?! Damn, I need LBP2!! Oh, and the new Ratchet game is upto 4-player
And Viva Pinata started as an XBox exclusive, but Microsoft saw the sales and reviews were good so they milked more money out of it- they care more about money then quality, hense the many shooters, since they sell the best, and the Live subscription fees. Oh, and to SpyroLUVA, it was made by Rare and it's a simulation game, like Spore or the Sims. Quote: Spyroo
You haven't played LBP?! The horror! You can pay for extra costumes (E.G: Ratchet and Clank costumes, Metal Gear costumes, The Incredibles costumes and so on) via PSN but that's mainly for famous characters- things like animal costumes (my sackboy is a 'dead' Zebra ), normal clothes and other random stuff is found in-game. Plus, you can use stickers on your sackboy; par example, I could make my sackboy plain white then paste lot's of flowers, kisses or LOL's onto him. I like making big, buff sackboy's then pasting a lovely pair of huge lips onto them

In the first one, there was a TON of downloadable content. Some of this was game-changing stuff. However, they are all on the LBP2 disc anyway, so if you don't plan to get the first one, there is not much of a problem. However, I'm not sure if the objects and costumes collected in the first games story can be obtained without importing a save file of the first one.

In LBP1, the limit for stickers/decorations on your Sackperson is 9(the number is separate for both stickers and decorations).
In LBP2, it could very well be unlimited. I placed tons of them on him and they never got deleted! I used it to improve my Cynder costume from LBP1! Will probably improve more...

You can in LBP2. But not in LBP1.
To do it in LBP2, put the costume on a SackBot, then put the SackBot in a prize bubble(or, send it directly, to your friend). The receiver must then go to the SackBot's tweak menu, open the costume editor, and select "Save Costume". It will now be in your saved costumes, and can be used on your real Sackperson. I think that's how it works anyway. I haven't tried it, but there is a YouTube video of someone doing it in the Beta.

Well, you don't NEED the costumes and what not from LBP1 to enjoy LBP2, but they would enhance the experience I guess.
No matter what one you get....just don't expect creation to be a cakewalk. It's preety much like making an actual retail game.
