if i developed it, i would of made it better. I would of called it:
Spyro: Year of the dragon part 2.

You all need to look at the positives of this game. Its original spyro, its OK at least, and remember, it was NOT the developers fault. It was universal for forcing a evil due date on them since they started developement late 2001 and had to finish summer 2002. And release winter 2002. I would of not made it for PS2 though. I would of made it for PS1 since the graphics in the PS1 versions of spyro are SOOOOO better in my opinion.

But spyro needed the PS1. All the games after the PS1 where not good. Insomniac should of given the engine to the new developers, and maybe this would never of happened. Spyro enter the dragonfly may of been made for PS1, it might of been better. They could of reused character models since it would of been the same engine and it could of went quicker with development (since ripto,crush,gulp and gnasty all had character models from before), and all the other characters. And it also could of stood ground to bring us a really good spyro game and bring back elora and a few other characters. It also would of been cool to bring back old levels from previous and maybe 3 or 4 home worlds with like 5 portals per and a boss fight per. And maybe get shelia, bently, agent 9 and sgt burd too. I really wish it would of been developed for PS1 with the old engine instead of them going from scratch, since they would of went quicker and possibly got farther then they did with the final game. The game seems 40% complete. If it would of been for PS1 with the old engine, they would not of had to use there time to recode an engine, and they would of got to maybe 80% or better and we would all of had a pretty good spyro. And PS1 games still would release in 2002 so it would of been cool.
