Of course. Though, I hope at least get a few special platformer levels. They could choose a bad developer like Ubisoft, though, and still pull off a cool game.

I hope it's mostly a platformer: my favorite genre.

In other words, ActiVision is digging their grave as we speak. They are constantly doing these ups and downs to screw with us when in reality they are investing their precious money in CoD(which really is good).

I think they view Spyro as a dying breed. All those who used to play are growing older, and the fanbase is bleeding out little by little. With the introduction of shooters, kids are picking Black Ops and Modern Warfare over Spyro and Crash. Even pokemon, the eiptome of nintendo handhelds is dying, even with White and Black coming out in the next year.

As much as I hate to say it, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if ActiVision dropped and scrapped Spyro's Kingdom. ActiVision's risky gamble will be there downfall. BioWare and InterPlay invested too much in Baldur's Gate, Earthworm Jim, and MDK(my fave game ever) and they collapsed under the weight of their losses, bankrupting and ceasing to exist.

ActiVision is going that same route.

I miss imagination...

I actually hope that Spyro's kingdom will be like EtD a little. It could get such bad reception, Activision will sell Spyro to a better publisher and then crash and burn. I always hated them...

Though on the ore hand, this is the longest wait yet, and we need a goooood game now. I just hope that AV eventually give away Spyro.

I completely agree. I support their death, though. They rarely made games I liked. Unless they change, I'll never look at Activision. I know I'm usually not so blunt, but I'm just too tired to think.

They did make World at War, which I like
Spider-Man 2, which I loved
And guitar hero, which I sometimes enjoy

I still love Atari 2600-era Activision! YAY PITFALL!

Bioware has picked itself up though, with Mass Effect 2, which may be the best 360 game I've ever played.

And Activision has several games that I love. Guitar Hero, CoD, Spiderman 2 (which is the best movie game ever IMO), War For Cybertron and more. But they let some franchises die, and they rely far too much on CoD, just like how Microsoft relied too much on Fable and Halo.

Spot on. Even Mario is getting this treatment. Galaxy 2 is the best game I've ever played. Only 5 reviewers failed to give it a perfect 10. But most people choose Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2 for Game of the Year over it, both of which are third person shooters. Granted, Mass Effect 2 is a great game, and it's my second pick behind Galaxy 2, but Red Dead Redemption is an overhyped piece of **** that doesn't deserve GOTY.

They made Over The Hedge. The console version was very good.

How in the world are people letting Mario die? I miss the great days of gaming. Everything was great until the PS2 era, when wars began and many franchises started going downhill.

Dunno, don't care. I've made it pretty clear I dislike them.

Activision claimed to have plans for the SPYRO franchise, not CoD. Once again they rely on CoD too much.

Right now, I'm just waiting for news regarding SK. Here's a list of games coming out this year that I can't wait for:

The new region are called Unova. As for the Pokemon, most of them are cool, but there are a few weird ones... :I The starters are a grass snake, sea otter and fire pig. You can spoil them yourselves on Serebii.

I'm not excited for anything completely, overhyped-ly the most right now. I'm anxious to see the new game too, but I don't want get too excited because it might suck. I don't know any great games Activision made with Nintendo.

But I'm probably looking forward to the 3DS/new Top Hat games and Pokemon the most overall.

Cars wasn't really that special. Cars 2 isn't going to be good at all. It's going to be either a decent success or more likely, a huge failure, like Avatar: The Last Airbender.

On an unrelated note, I found out Ice Age 4 is coming in 2013. My personal opinions... The second was decent and the third was almost as good the first, so it'll be interesting to see how it goes. They also have a bit of the footage up.

Ice Age was good. Ice Age 2 was fantastic. Ice Age 3 was lacking. The 4th could be decent, but they may be pushing the envelope with it.
