Gems are a method of determining how active a user has been on the site and serve no other purpose beyond that.

To earn gems you just simply have to visit the website at least once a week as they are given out early Sunday morning / late Saturday night. It simply calculates whether or not you've visited during the past week and if you've posted or not (the number of posts is ignored). You get 7 for visiting and 3 for posting, it then generates a random number between 0 and 6 to give you as a bonus. So the maximum you can get in a week is 16 and you're guaranteed to get at least 10 if you visit and post.

Seeing as everyone was talking about Mae Whitman:

She also voices Yuffie(FFVII:AC, KH Games).....
She also played a hermaphradite in Scott Pilgrim VS The World!
Since seeing that movie and seeing her name attached to Cynder, it's hard to look at TEN Cynder the same way!smilie

I didn't know that Mae Whitman played both Cynder and Katara. Now I know, and when I play it now it does sound like her.

I still want Tom Kenny back if I'm honest. He's the only VA that could voice classic and Legend series and sound right (imo anyway).

Cynder, not sure. I'll leave that one to her fans (Just not Christina, please).

If you let the fans decide, someone out there is bound to say Lady Gaga, and everyone will agree, and then our nightmares will come true.

I didn't mind Christina, but there are several people out there that can do a better job.

Who did Tom Kenny play?
Tom Kenny would do a nic job, look at all the cartoons he does.
Spongebob, Casper, Jimmy Neutron, etc.

It seems as though he would be voicing Spyro.



It could work....

EDIT: Tom Kenny used to play Spyro from GtG/RR to ETD, as well as several other characters.

There's another VA who would be terrible at voicing Cynder, based on her only ever performance in a kids DVD. Although, everyone who said Christina was bad would have to take it back in comparison.

But looking at it, yeah, Mae Whitman would be nice.

No. She did a terrible job in Bolt, and seeing her playing Cynder, or any Spryo character for that matter, will result in someone's decapatation.

Cynder hardly talked in ANB....at all....
In TEN, she didn't have many lines either, but also sounded too "ambigious".

I thought her voice AND her appearence could be interpreted as a boy, not just a girl. If it weren't for the fact that I had researched the series before playing, and for the fact that they call her a she, I would of thought she was a boy. In fact, before I seen DotD Cynder, I thought she WAS a boy.

I always thought she looked/sounded like a girl in TEN. She sounded more 'powerful' when speaking though, which is what I loved about her.

But yeah, that's what I think. Mae Whitman's Cynder voice reminds me of Tails' new VA.

But most of the time, I felt she was right on the money, especially during Iggy's death*shot*
Althought there were times were she sounded weird, but I was able to look past it. Almost all the actors had a slip up or two anyway. Even Gary Old...*shot*....and it even happened in ANB and TEN*shot*....and even the Cla...*shot*

Seems I can't say a thing with out being shot.....smilie
