Sonic was downhill for a while if you ask me, starting with Shadow the Hedgehog and ending with Sonic 4, where Rush and Secret Rings were the only truely good games. Unleashed screwed up with the werehog stages, Rivals was decent at best, Sonic 06 was terrible, Black Knight was just as bad, and while the first Riders was decent, Zero Gravity sucked.

The fanbase is torn, and it's up to us (whom like both) to pull it back together.

Exactly. The critic's opinion is good and all, but in the end it's up to what you think.

Take Big Daddy for example. It has a 41 on Metacritic, but I thought it was funny as hell.

I care if the game is rated low almost everywhere since then it's most likely a real prob with the game (ex. Sonic 06) other than a bias view.

But that's not the case with LoS. Those review scores aren't that bad. And remember, a lot of reviewers are biased. I'm sure I don't need to bring up IGN's review of TEN again....

Yeah, IGN even gave the original a 7.5 >.>

LoS got mediocre reviews overall, and that's pretty much what I'd give them too. TEN I'd give a bit higher, but most people know I like that game the most from the series

But yeah, sadly games need guns in them to be successful..... In US/EU, at least.

That's how critics are. All they care about now is Shooters and overrated franchises like Final Fantasy(no offense to any fans out there, I haven't played any of the games but I heard they get too much praise).

Also, IGN gave DotD about the same score as their re-review of Spyro 1.

Personally, it depends on each individual game. I think FFVII is overrated(and I haven't even played it), but I think the recent FFXIII is underrated(which I fully played through).

FFXIII has AMAZING graphics.....and even more amazing gameplay, storyline and music!

The other FF's didn't really seem special for graphics, except for the PSP ones and some other exceptions.

I remember FFX ... That has an amazing graphics, and it's for PS2!

Yeah, that has pretty good graphics, but FFXII is better than that for graphics. Still, FFX looks great for it's time.

I wouldn't say a bad port. Some combat moves that required motion control worked strange. But that's it.

Yeah, you can't do most of those, if any, in the Xbox 360 version. However, I found this....(Yes, it's my video)

I've caught a few nasty glitches on the Wii version - Random crash, not loading properly, and some nicer (read: fun) glitches too.

As for the Dazzle, there seems to be better, HD ones now. Wish I had them, so I could play and record in HD. A regular connection looks real fuzzy on a HDTV!

Also, I use Sony Vegas 9 to render my videos now, improving the quality. Here's what it comes out like(again, it is my video):

Yes. I really love the Wii, but DoTD drives me off the edge sometimes on it. I officially give it the award for 'Most commonly crashing game"!
