ETD wasn't that bad... Not great; it was glitchy, poor story but still pretty fun IMO.

I just found it too bland, short and of course, glitchy, and most of the glitches are of the bad variety...

I agree. I think it's exaggerated how bad it is, considering the worst I've seen happen is random freezing on the PS2 version (which coincidentally happens on Wii DotD too).

Hey, at least none of the Spyro games were as bad as Big rigs, and I doubt it will get there anyway.

ETD was a glitchy, long loading, poorly designed mess of pixels that was unplayable IMO. It's one of the worst games I've ever played. I was just banging my head on the PS2 controller rather than having fun.

I haven't played Big Rigs, but if it IS indeed worse than ETD, then I can be happy saying that Spyro would never reach that level.

Don't know if I can say the same about Crash.

There is one thing I do not understand. How could information such as information on the new Spyro game simply be exposed all of the sudden, if it is clear Activision is trying so hard to conceal it within shadow? smilie

What I think happened is that a tiny bit of information was found, and people got curious by that and went and searched the internet for themselves and came back with more information, and now, we've found basically all of the information that was leaked.

#2962 Posted: 02:00:09 02/01/2011
Could it be possible for some strange reason that the security breach in information was intentional? Like, to lure us into a zombie-like trance that would keep our minds locked on Spyro for all eternity? smilie

Hey, that's actually possible! smilie Maybe they saw that we were losing hope in Spyro, so they "accidentally" leaked information to keep us wanting more Spyro, and then deleted it as if it was an accident..

We speak of a conspiericy-like insident that occured with the newly found Spyro game information. Perhaps they gave us some information to let us know that there was a Spyro game coming out so that we would get interested in it. Perhaps they gave us no further information so that we would be surprised by the 'different direction' they're taking Spyro in.

It's possible. But I wouldn't count on it. I think Activision released the news, then deleted it because they realized what would happen if they decide to cancel it.

Never mind, just disregard what I said. Or take it as an example. I don't know.

Yeah, they probably want to excite everyone on the day it comes out, and randomly tell everyone then, and not even give one week's notice, so that hopefully a lot of people would rush out to buy it all at once and then Activision can think "Suckers" LOL

If High Impact was making Spyro's Kingdom, then I wouldn't be worrying too much. These guys know what they're doing.

I also have to think on the bright side about this. I mean, think about it. Activision did a great job with Goldeneye. Maybe JUST maybe they can do it again with Spyro.

The game cube version isn't that bad.

Hey guys, which guardian do you think will be at the forefront in SK? Iggy was the one we always saw fighting, and he used to be thier leader and Spyro's personal mentor and guide about more than his powers, but now that he's gone who do you think will 'replace' him? I think it might be Terrador because it seemed he was Iggy's best friend.

Still even if a new 'head guardian' is made clear, I'd like to see more of ALL thier abilities. Oh man, seeing Volteer go battle crazy would be SWEET!

Hey guys! I have done some browsing and here should be a new game 'Spyro's Kingdom' in 2011! smilie Some fans are saying it will be out in Feb, but i think its kinda unlikely. so keep a look out for the new game in 2011! woo!

NOTE
We don'e really know if it is true BUT... there is a 99.9% chance it will come out, also we don't know if it will be a new series, the old one, of continuing from the LOS trio.

To New_SpryoLUVA:

Hmmm... I never gave that too much thought. But I agree, Terrador would probably be the new 'leader'. It would be neat if there was fire dragon born that was destined to become the new fire guardian and it was up to Spyro to see to his well being. It's unlikely, but a possibility, notwithstanding.

To Kyaro:

Yes, we have come to the conclusion that it is most likely if not definately coming out in 2011 (yay! smilie) we just don't know when. I'm hoping they'll at least give us some more information on the game late winter/ early spring.

I really do hope that High Impact Games makes the new Spyro game, Size Matters and Lost Frontier looks alright, I've seen them on YouTube. And they seem to know what they are doing with those two video games franchises. It would be interesting too, because I've researched about them on the net, and they took part in the first three Spyro games.

There was going to be a Crash game in 2010. But I heard it got cancelled. It was going to be developed by Radical Entertainment, developers for the last few Crash games and Prototype.

If they were able to do to Spyro what they did to Prototype, I would be sold! Prototype was one of the best games of 2009 in my opinion.
