For some reason my GameCube version loads quick and the only glitch is the Swiming in Air glitch. Do you think its the disk or version?

Yeah, I think it's because it needs less usage for graphics.

If you want the game, always get it in gamecube. PS2 just does not work propperly.

Yeah, the Game Cube version does work better... When I got ETD for the PS2 last year, it wasn't until I got home that I remembered "Wait, a Wii can run Game Cube games... DAMNIT!"

Gamecube is so much better. I remember taking ages on a level on the PS2 version, only for the game to lock up before it saved.

The reason why the Gamecube version is better is because it came out like, a couple of weeks later than the PlayStation 2 version, so the developers had a little more time to sort out a few more glitches and such...

I have the PS2 version, but my is pretty good. I don't know whether people are just overrating or it's my game. I have the PS2 Platinum version, but I don't think Platinum makes any difference...

Shame they still sell the PS2 ETD in my local GAME store but not the GC version... Gamecube died way too early, methinks. It doesn't help that I sold my PS2 version (which was also my first Spyro game that I'd ever bought- not including the countless times I rented YotD and StD) for the other version... Time for a trip to eBay!!

I was actually thinking about buying a GameCube just for ETD, but then again would that be a waste of money just for one game?

Buy a Wii instead, as well as having SK confirmed for release they play GameCube games- So you will literally be able to play every Spyro console game on it apart from the Insomniac trilogy.

I actually kind of like the PS2 version of Spyro (4): Enter The Dragonfly. (Except for the loading times.) But that's because I love finding glitches in video games. But yeah, if I didn't like finding glitches in video games, then I would say that the Gamecube Version is 200% superior to the PS2 version.

That's kinda cool. It's worth thinking about. Thing is, I don't like any other Wii games, lol. And I would have to buy the exact same copies again, so I guess there isn't much point. |

It isn't worth it to buy a game that is like 6 years old.
|

*sigh* It isn't even 6 years, it's 8. That just shows how much people care about it.

I said like, I thought it was either 6, 7 or 8. I guess I was close, just lost count. I loved it when it first came out, but I am much older and see how bad the game is (no offense to the people who like it).

That's kinda like me saying to you, that if you really liked Spyro, and you wanted to try the old ones, I could just say "There's no point because it's about 13 years old, lol, I'm not really bothered on how old it is. |
Spyroo Blue Sparx Gems: 867 |
#35 Posted: 14:59:10 03/01/2011
I'm still trying to find a game that's about 17 years old.....
Anyhow, the GC isn't as bad like it's been said, and it's fairly enjoyable overall.
