New Spyro game? [CLOSED]

Possibly, but that's not always why third party games become Wii exclusives.

Sure they do it because it's cheaper too, but also they have to work at the game less as well. It could be any reason for money.

Epic Mickey is a Wii exclusive as they thought the art style wasn't suited to PS3/Xbox 360.
Madworld is a Wii exclusive for that and because the Wii controls really enhanced the game.

I think the reason they chose the Wii, was because they wanted to aim for the younger generation.

It is strange how the PlayStation was aimed for the younger generation, and now, it seems to be the Wii.

The PlayStation has the easiest way to control. The Wii you have to move around and with the Xbox the analog sticks are in two different spots.

You don't. Not only can you use a Classic or GameCube Controller on most proper games, but most proper games don't require you to move that much.

This.

I rarely find myself moving, I can just sit back and relax on most games.

Fair enough, a friend I used to have, used to play Zelda, and I found that game kind of interesting, but it got a bit boring in places. I guess I've never really looked into Wii games before.

If you like Zelda, then there is Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii.....

And Skyward Sword, which is coming out soon.

And Epic Mickey. Other than that, I've hardly used my Wii. xD

Perhaps spyro's gonna make an exercise game o.O? That would be funny, though I loved hero's tale and hope the new game will be more like it actually with co-op. The way spyro ran was incredibly cute not to mention there was flame and ember... I wonder if we'll see them again.

But I love that game as well, don't see why it's disliked by a lot of people.

The only reason I don't like it is because mine doesn't work. smilie All of the cutscenes and dialouge keep skipping, so it's something like: "Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - Spyro - give - give - give - give - give - give - give - give - give - give - give - give - me - me - me- me - me - me - me - me - me - me - me - me - me - all - all - all - all - all - all - all - all - all - all - all - all - your - your - your - your - your - your - your - your - your - your - your - gems - gems - gems - gems - gems - gems - gems!" smilie

Not really. Most games usually only have a small flick for motion control, and otherwise it's just pushing buttons like the PS3 and Xbox. You can even sit and play games like Wii Sports and such.

I quite liked Spyro's voice in AHT, I thought it was a little different and it kinda reminded me of the voice in STD, I like Tom Kenny's voice in GTG, but in YOTD and ETD he sounds like his voice is too soft, like something isn't quite right with it, and I can't stand Elijah Wood voicing Spyro, I'm sorry, it is just so boring to me.

My favourite voice would be from GTG, then AHT, and finally STD.

#2777 Posted: 03:47:04 27/12/2010
The voice actors had different mind sets. Classic Spyro was campy and light-hearted, so it was fitting that the voice actor was the same. LoS was serious and dark, so it was fitting that you had someone serious play the role.

Elijah Wood was great IMO. But maybe that's because he's one of my favorite voice actors.

I think he's a great actor, and I haven't even watched Lord of the Rings completely!smilie
However, he was great in "Green Street".
The only characters I know he does the voice acting for are Spyro and Mumble from Happy Feet.

I think if you're picking a VA for a character who is a legendary all powerful hero, you need to pick someone who can do a really strong, poweful and confident voice.

I do.

I like Elijah and all, but I honestly found his voice to add to Legend Spyro's dull personality.

But Spyro isn't that. He was timid, nervous, and above all else he didn't even know he was a dragon when ANB first started. I feel as though he did alright, but a lot more emotion could've been used once we hit DotD.

I've been playing DotD recently, and everytime I listen to Spyro, he sounds too dull, it really dosen't do anything for me, there are a few lines where Elijah does well, but not many, and Cynder just annoys me, she just sounds trappy all the time. Like she's always snapping back at every comment that everyone makes, she also sounds too big headed in my opinion.

But it would only take 3 minutes or less to find the definition. There's no need to get snappy about it.
