Well if the game is fake, then, well lets say people will tear their heads off.

Crash Rising seemed like a ruse from the start. Someone even confirmed it for me before the countdown finished!
But Spyro's Kingdom seems legit.

No one would go to all the trouble of the speadsheets to make a rumor about Spyro. Also, how does making a rumor about a game help you from being desperate for a new game?

There wouldn't be evidence on LinkedIn or game sites, not to mention video game stores. So I'm convinced it's real.

I believe it was real at some point in time. But it was probably canceled due to early leaks.

But that's just my opinion.

Why would they cancel a game because of leaks? Then they just loose money because the made part of a game, and earn no profit by not finishing and selling it.

This is Activision were talking about. Who knows whats going on that mindset . Regardless if its real or not, I'm still renaming skeptical (just like I am with Kung-fu Panda 2 ).

But I though Activision was thought to be greedy. If they were so greedy would they not continue and release a game anyway, even if it were somewhat half-assed?

That seems to be the likeliest of choices if you ask me. There are also some people who think that Spyro would be shelved and will see a release date in the far future. If Activision does release this game, I pray they at least put a lot of effort into it. However, there's apart me that disagrees.

I thought I saw a Kung Fu Panda 2 preview when I went to the theatre. I'm almost positive I did.. Huh.

Actually that was Spyroo, SpyroPurple. I didn't actually see or hear proof of the next game in a video game store.

As for selling cutscenes, anyone who actually buys that is an imbecile and deserves to loose 30$. So Kotic tries to profit off of morons, so what? Unless you're a moron you have nothing to fear of it.

Apparently fans don't care about that. If fans want to pay good money for what you call a mediocre game, that's thier fault, not Activision's. If people are sick of them making so much money off of 'poor' games like CoD, then they need to stop buying it and demand change. Activision produce great SELLING games, not genuinly great games(most of the time). And yet those games still get high markings and awards for some reason. That's why everyone is a little annoyed at them.

But why be annoyed? If Activision produced mediocre games which sold as you would expect a mediocre game to sell no one would have any ill will towards them I bet. But why dislike activision for producing 'poor' games which sell well? If anything dislike the general gaming/consumer public who CHOOSE to pay for mediocre games. As I already said, if they didn't sell well they would put more effort, time and money into thier games.

I wasn't talking to you specifically, I was taking about people in general who go on about how activision sucks because they get tonnes of money for less-than-superb games. It's the fault of the buyer who opens thier wallet for those games, not the publisher.

Perhaps its because some people don't prefer Activision's mind set and they get angry when people fall for their mediocrity. You do make a good point that its the buyer's own money and as such its their responsibility and choice to spend it as they please. I myself don't appreciate Activision not as a hole but simply because of their president, Kotick if I'm not mistaken. Kotick's view point on how video games should be made, and how money driven that websites make him out to be has put me, personally, in a defensive state.

True, I'm happy to know that a Spyro game is being made, but being made by company that has a president like Kotick. . . lets just say I'm not pleased. Nonetheless, beggars can't be choosers and I guess its better than nothing. We'll just have to wait and see on how much effort Activision has put into this game, everything else is still nothing more than hot air at this point.

Yeah, the next Spyro game being published by a game company owned by a greedy, money-driven CEO like Kotick makes me think that Activision won't put that much effort into the game like their other ones..

It didn't seem like much effort was being put into the TLOS series in my opinion anyway.

I do have to agree there..... They were very rushed overall.

Yet so many people bought and enjoyed it.
