@ Spyroo: That was posted AGES ago, at the start of the topic. It was in the video posted in the first post and a link was posted shortly after. Look for the link to the site that lists three websites hosted by Activision's server. The sites are called Spyro's Kingdom, no legend is placed in the site names. Cances are one or more of those will become the official game site, asnd if the name for the game site only has Spyro's Kingdom in the title, the game will be called Spyro's Kingdom.

If you look at Spyro’s profile on Spyro’s Lair, somewhere near the end it says he is slowly growing into the leader of dragon kind, or something like that. It might have a little hint to what happens in Spyro’s Kingdom.

Thanks, I couldn't find it either (although I didn't go looking too hard).

Hm..... I hope it's not Spyro as an adult. But still, it's too early to think anything yet.

I was hoping I could find more info on the domain, but alas. All I found was Activision's domain registering email, rofl.

Going to fight cynder in convexity was one time.... and going to save her from the well of souls even after he was warned by the chronicler it was far too dangerous to go there.

I would say both of those things would be pretty reckless acts.

The only thing I would like to know is.... If Spyro does become a leader, who was the leader before him? Or would they make Spyro the first ever leader? I'd kinda like him to be Ignitus' replacement.

I don't mind speculating, but I won't expect anything. Even if the game turns out bad, there are other great games for me to play, such as Sonic Colours!

Well, it has been a while since DotD.

Seeing as Spyro isn't as big as say Call of Duty, Activision may not pressure the Spyro developers that much as Spyro isn't as popular as Call of Duty or Guitar Hero, and wouldn't make as much money anyway. They have made plenty of money off of Black Ops.

Speaking of Call of Duty, Activision let slip the title for the next game, just like with Spyro's Kingdom! smilie

You know how we know activision wants more money and could careless about what the gamers think. Well at work on this past sunday, i noticed that call of duty blk ops is the same price as call of duty modern warfare 2. 60bucks each game. ok theres something wrong with this picture a older game costing as much as a new game, regardless if it came out less than a year ago but the game is old cut it by 10 bucks at least.

I've seen they've changed the descriptions of some of the characters in Spyro's Lair as well. I have a bad feeling that Spyro's going to be leader of the dragons. And it also seems like they will make it in the tLoS Universe too, seeing what they did to the descriptions. I thought they said they were heading it in a different direction...

Maybe they're going in a different direction with the gameplay and keeping the TLoS universe and story? I hope they at least change the gameplay; I didn't care for the LoS story very much, but even it was amazing compared to the gameplay. -__-

It would be cool if someone made an Original Spyro game, I miss those. I've been playing AHT lately and I remembered how much I missed them. It would be cool to see something better that happens after AHT.

But how does that site know what Spyro's kingdom is about? There is no information on it at all, so how do they know? IMO, they were talking about DOTD. Spyro did kind of lead the dragons in that game.

I wouldn't trust anything just yet, until Activision describes what the game is about themselves.

I think it's fairly common. The first thing that comes to my mind is something Nintendo just did with the Japanese release of Pokemon Black and White. Some sites were posting images of the new Pokemon, and they requested that the fan sites take the images down because the game wasn't available outside of Japan yet.

This does make it sound like they're definitely going ahead with this and we weren't supposed to know about it yet.

I wouldn't call those things reckless as they needed to be done and that was the only way to do them. I call reckless doing something in a way that is dangerous when there is an option to do it safely.
@ Aura maybe so, but they can't make a lot of money off thier games UNLESS they're good. Would YOU pay for a crap game? Probably not, and nor would anyone else.

There are some rumors that Spyro's Kingdom is going to be a MMO. In my opinion this is too far. I mean its not enough that they turned spyro from a platformer to a beat em up but now a MMO?!? Cmon thats really stupid, he is getting farther and farther from his original awesome roots. Any thoughts?
